What is stupider, going 165 mph, or going 165 mph without a seatbelt on?

If its done in test mode

What did I tell you?

A) In test mode, trip odometer is not displayed.

B) In test mode, engine coolant temp is maxed out.

C) It's not a photoshop. I don't even have photoshop.

Feel free to peruse the high-quality, unshrunk, unadulterated original. Select all the text, right-click and copy it into your address bar. Clicking the link WILL NOT WORK for some reason.

And the previous high-speed mark, also high-quality, unshrunk, and unadulterated.

EDIT: Tried to fix links.

NOTE: If that engine speed is maintained, however, oil temperature CAN rise to dangerous levels.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">True. But why do it, if you are not going to have proof of it?

The jackstand theory would be great... A) if I had thought of it, B) if I had jackstands and C) if the stock SVT wasn't limited to 7200 RPMs.

And kool_zx3 wasn't the driver, I was.

Sweet Jesus, a lot of cynics around here. That is O.K., I know what I did and so does the owner and mechanics of the vehicle.

Guess I will have to prep the ride, clear the course, and risk my life again. Of course, this time I will hire a camera crew to take video, a Highway Patrolman to radar me, and a Cessna to match my speed.

And still there will be doubters.

what are your mods? stock SVT, full tank of gas, and driver, ON FLAT GROUND, will never ever hit 165. and if it did, it would take so long to get there, you'd be VERY VERY redlining the engine for quite some time. is that in 5th or 6th? is that even possible in 5th? because i doubt there'd be enough power in 6th to keep your speed.

edit:
C) if the stock SVT wasn't limited to 7200 RPMs.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">again, mods? because you're obviously over 7200 rpms. so if you couldn't do it on jackstands, how are you doing it on the road? bigass hill?
