so i have a decision to make...
my friend is going to sell me one of his cars.. the decision is up to me...
a bone stock 1997 black z28 convertable with 12k miles on it
or
a heavily modified 2001 silver zx3 with 8k miles on it.

v-8 or zetec?
both manual tranny.

well... i know that he put a new exhaust on it... cool air intake... header, ummm... plugs, wires, pulley, it's got a body kit, and chrome wheels. cam gear or whatever... it's got some high performance clutch or something... oh.. and he just purchased a nitrous system for it.. that i would have to install, but it comes with it.. but i am definately leaning toward the camaro...

i have driven the zx3... but not the z28... anyone know how the pony handles a larger gentleman?

he is selling the zx3 for 10,500 and the camaro for 13,000 but i can get the zx3 for 9 and the z28 for 11...

and i think he did drive the focus a little harder than the z28... since he replaced the clutch already...

i really enjoy the conflict between chevy and ford owners... i have always loved the lines of chevy cars, but admit that ford makes more efficient cars. But on the converse side of that, ford did take the v-8 out of the mustang, and drop and inline-4... for the ladies... which makes no sence to me... a muscleless muscle car... anywho, i really dig convertables, i had a lebaron for a while, and it drove nice, and there is no better feeling than girls asking to ride in your convertable... just because the top is down. But, on the other hand of that, i am a college kid, and if i saved the money, what 2,000 or something... and went with the focus... think of the beer i could buy... thanks for all the suggestions... this board is great!
