Whats going on people I'm sure a few of you, saw my post earlier on the turbo kit to get. Im still looking for a kit but I want a cheaper alternative for now, I was looking at the ZEX kit and it seems pretty nice. I like the accessories that they have and I think its a bit less than the NOS Kit. What are your veiws on this, thanks.

the wot switch is a good idea, put it inline with a pushbutton and a window switch from 4500-6500 and you can't hardly go wrong. I'm pretty safely running a 75 shot this way. Doesn't make me too nervous, because I can't accidentally make a mistake. good luck

Mr. Squatch you have the ZEX kit??? I want to run a 75 shot, I like how they have the Ejector Air Amp, so I dont have to mess up my pretty little MAC Intake by drilling into it, and I heard that ZEX was a pretty good name. So how does the computer controller system know when you are at full throttle???

I had the ZEX dry kit on my FOCUS for almost 2 years and almost 30,000 miles. I estimate I went through 100 plus bottles of nitrous. I went through a bottle or more every week. People say and say that the ZEX kit isn't compatible with the Focus but it worked just fine for me. I Ran a 100hp shot with 93 gas. I only experienced DETO once when a vacume line from the NMU to the fuel regulator came off. I did use a colder plug with a smaller GAP. I am not 100% sure but am quite certain though that it was the death of my catalytic converter. Just something to think about. Good luck.

Huh? a 100 shot DRY on stock injectors? Sure buddy, where's the proof?

Well I look at it like this, I like that little Ejector Amp thingy they have, I dont really want to drill into my pretty little MAC intake, and this seems like a pretty good alternative to doing that. Do you know of anyone else that used this kit and was satisfied???

If the ZEX kit is like the venom kit (vcn1000), it uses the factory injectors to add fuel. this makes it seem like a dry kit, but it's not really. The venom kit widens the injector pulses to add fuel when the kit is spraying. It also monitors a/f ratio and gauges WOT from the TPS. if you let off the gas, or run lean it shuts off the entire system. I've installed and operated one of these kits and am very impressed with them in general.

I had 24lb injectors and 70mm MAF just for the record. I HAVE dynoed the car at TOMS DYNO with the 100 hp shop. But hey, believe what you wanna believe.

Well, that wasn't what I was getting at but anyways. Well, my numbers were not that great, as it was cold as hell that day and I had no bottle warmer and my EGR was bad so it had a pretty bad miss. I Think I did like 154 hp 179 tq.
