Poor G... she's tough though. She's gonna give the boys a beating when she gets to kindergarten...
I couldn't find it yesterday but here's why Keurig coffee tastes like stale ass.

Ladies and Gentlemen. The "Rule of Fifteens":
After harvest, unroasted coffee can be kept for 15 months.
After roasting, the beans are good for 15 days.
After grinding, you have 15 minutes.
Fortunately we have an excellent roasting company about 1 mile from our house so the second rule isn't much to worry about. That said, to each their own. Drink what you want and be happy.

That is GREAT info Robb... I've now learned something new today. I still don't think it tastes like ass out of the K-cups, but, that's good for me I guess.

One thing to consider here, is that our Keurig brewer came with an attachement that lets you brew one cup at a time using your own fresh ground coffee beans.
You ground your beans, and then fill up a tiny wire mesh filter to a line indicator, depending on how strong, or how big a cup you want, then lock the filter and grounds into an attachement that you place right in the Keurig, and then just press the button like normal!

It takes a few more seconds, but it's actually really cool, and it makes dynomite coffee!! Coffee that may not even taste like ass even to a coffee snob
ROLF!

Don't run over any hippies! I heard they try to make bongs out of the cones!
Hmm, bongs out of pylons - never tried that one :dunno: BTW - when the H E double hockey sticks are you going to move out here?

Mike - I like the idea of being able to use your own ground beans. THAT I would like to try.

Oh snap! I didn't know there was a K-cup with a wire filter!! The one we have makes you re-use an old K-cup. Basically brewing with a used filter. Blech... I'll have to look for one of those wire mesh guys.

I lerned somting tue. :D

Hale, the shoot was cool 'cause everything had a great flow. The fighter was totally into it and I was working with an old friend who I share a creative vibe with. I usually bug out over all the technical stuff but I was totally focused (ah thank you) on the creative aspects.

I'm outta here in 2 weeks. So are my unemployment bennies. It's going to be couch surfing or the highway for shikster soon. I've applied to a few dozen jobs in the bay area already, and I have a friend in the city I can crash with for a couple weeks if needs be. We'll see! I thought about heading that way for all of August then caravanning south to FOTB and try my hand at socal again for a while. Who knows.

The kits I've seen are around 15-18 bucks. Includes the cup, a screw on lid and the wire mesh filter that goes inside.

You do have to take the cup cradle with the pokers in it, the one that comes with the coffee maker, out of the Keurig, and this cup contraption replaces it. But, if this is all you would ever want to do anyway, rock on right?

Like I said, it's a little more work with the grounds and clean up after each cup, but if you want your own gourmet coffee one cup at a time, it's way worth it.

just spent all morning ripping out stock seat wiring! i'll let you in on a little secret. DON'T DO IT. so difficult and frustrating. anyways transplanted everything into the Bride's, but the actual seatbelt buckle wires are still disconnected. I'm hoping the airbag light will go away once and for all once I get these babies soldered. wish me luck everyone, I'm off to conquer the infamous airbag light. Nothing will stop me. Except autoX.
