Im going to be buying the rear Ford Racing rear subframe since mine is all rusted out. Does anyone know if the kit comes with new bolts and hardware? I am going to need all new bolts and such since they are all rusted and pretty bad looking. Also does anyone know if the Ford Racing unit is less likely to rust or if there would be anything good to put on it to prevent it from rusting.

It doesn't come with any bolts except LCR adjustment bolts (and mine were to short, luckily I already had the right ones) and sway bracket bolts/nuts... you'll need to get all body-bolts and enough new bushing-bolts and nuts to replace them all separately. It will outlast the rest of the car as is, so no need to recoat it, just make sure you use plenty of anti-seize on the bolts and get all new arms before you start (nice opportunity for upgrade).

Toe arms, camber arms, and lower control arms will all have bad bushings by now, even if you can get the bolts out and don't have to cut/grind them off. The flex/trailing arm bushing is possible/easier to replace and might not even be as bad as the others yet.

Massive and Dominic make adjustable toe/camber arms, just use different bushing materials, and Ford (Steve) or Dominic make LCAs. Gold Coast has stock trailing arms with poly bushings already fitted (if you don't want to do it yourself), or Ford for stock bush material.

The bolts that were too short are supposed to be used to adjust camber from the inner mounting point of the s link arm.

Thanks for the eye opener. I didn't expect that, and I have adjustable camber arms, so I never thought of it... I should have known, though, due to the welded stops on either side of the slot. :bang: Well, at least now I have something else to play around with.
