Cost. The EGR parts are cheaper than the VCT parts which do the EGR. All the 2000 and early 2001 owners can tell you how little money was spent on the EGR system.
Same owners and the Red FR200 is right beside it as it pulls in. Going to see the guy next week about the cars he assumes they won't sell and is going to talk prices with me after auction ends. Also the Red FR200 is also for sale. The silver FR200 is the true FR200 with the sedan rear lights as the red FR200 has the hatchback lights. So if there is one FR200 to have it would be the silver

I'm not sure if this is the same car or not, but I remember way back in the day that APC had a giveaway at Advance Auto Parts to win a silver ZX3 with that paint job, down to the interior and everything. I can't remember if it was an FR200 or not (the ad only showed front and interior shots, so I couldn't see the tail lights) but I remember thinking it'd be awesome to win it, gut the interior, and repaint it plain silver, and that was my way of thinking in like, 2004 :lol:
I also still own a copy of Ford Racing for PS2 that I used to play all the time back in that era. The FR200 was a playable car on there and was hands down my favorite part of the game. I know it looks garish now, but I'd love to own one.

Garish it may be, but it is also iconic. I too would love to own one and even with the absurd APC paint and graphics, the car is 10 times more appealing than what I see in the current trends of automotive modification.

Yes. Clearly it needs to have ¾" of ground clearance and tires that rub if you put any lateral load on them. That would make the car so much better.So, are you saying it needs to be stanced more?

I would love that silver one, or the red one even. Wish i was rich. I also want a rear wheel V8 focus someday. Kind of exactly like this one.

Alright guys reserve was set to 15K for the silver FR200, not sure what the red FR200 was going for. I am going to go see the cars tomorrow or next week sometime. If anyone is interested in the silver one and has an offer for the guy i can forward it through or give you his email. I told him about FocalJet and by the sounds of it hes seen another FR200 the yellow one.
