Slackers indeed. Popping in to say WTF?

Chris, sorry I'm slacking on the IMRC rebuild for you - this week has been the fustercluck to end all fusterclucking. I should be able to knock it out tonight and ship it tomorrow.
Its cool man, take your time. Your doing us a huge favor.

No idea what you guys are talking about. He simply gave me a ride and let me borrow his big, dirty tool, and lovingly showed me how to use it.

Nothing sexual about that, right? :dunno:

... oh wait.

Ugh. Just got a nice big crack in my windshield on my way back from lunch today.

Hopefully the repairs this mobile repair place did actually stick. Anyone else have any reviews as far as how your repaired windshield is holding up?

I've repaired a few myself and have had good results. My 85 Dodge Lancer had a 2' crack repaired that held up great.

Cool. They told me that if it ever breaks, that I can use the money I spent on the repair towards a new windshield, so that's a little comforting.

My car just turned 100k!!!!! Getting ready to give it a good wash, wax, windshield vinyl, and new cabin air filter!

Is there anything to check at this mileage point? Time to swap coolant? Does the MTX need some kind of servicing? PS res flush?

By-the-by.... (taking full advantage of bragging rights)

Alex just wrapped up his first semester @ UC Berkeley. Kid got an "A" in American Folklore, "B" in Discrete Mathmatics, "B+" in Linear Algebra, and "Passing" for some kinda BS new college student class. Somewhat proud of him.

Best mileage I ever got out of a car was my '85 GLI. 275k on it when I sold it. It was on it's 2nd clutch, and finally needed the head rebuilt at 215k. That thing was such a killer car.

Crown Vics last forever too, one of our taxis (that we use as backup) has almost 400k miles on the original motor and tranny, and we also have one that's driven daily and recently broke the 300k mark. I'll try to get some pics.
