Where am I going with this.......?

here you guys go! I couldnt hold up till I finished. Although I'm not so sure where I going with this

. Let me know what you think of it so far. I had a different LX before and ths is my new toy

I'm getting the H&R cup kit and new tires soon. Thanks to ExcelFocusZX3 for the great deal with the new rims,... you lykes? I've got the old ones for sale but havent posted them on the classifieds.
Also I would like to say in advance that I had did this to my car before I had known theres yet another focus, show car, with the same concept. I swear! So, anyway,.. not sure if this is just a stage of me preping my car for a new paint job, or just to look if this actually does work for my car.

Well, the kit looks good, and so do the wheels, but I would definately get a paint job if I were you. It will look great when you're finished!

The wheels are nice, needs more pix of hte bumpers tho.

Its kinda got an upside down Rod Millen(I think it was him) IS 430 look going on now. with your black on the bottom.

I dunno, i like the look of it now, but get it painted a reflective black and not flat black like that.

I'd be different thats for sure and in my book, i'll give ya points for being different.

thats funny... I was playing with photoshop this morning and did that exact same paint scheme on red sedan!

I think, if you were to paint that black, or liquid grey, clearcoat and everything, match the wheels too, it would be hot and different.

i kinda like it. in a wierd flat black sorta way. it makes you look twice at it. you initially think ohh this is one of those guys who throws a body kit on before it painted, then you take another look and realize its not. it just sems to be missing a accent of some kind. i think if you are going to keep that theme, you may have to go darker (more niteshades) on the tails. steble likey though

Good idea, but I think it would look better with a darker color on top. The contrast of the bright red and all that black looks a bit unbalanced. Awesome idea though!

I say paint the whole car flat black. Thats what I'l lbe doing eventually.

thanks so far for all of your replies.

just got back from getting new tires for the rims, 215/40/17R Khumo Ecsta ASX. The ride's pretty smooth so far,

ell have to see how they perform after I break 'em in a bit.
I somehow think that solid color cars look better flat than glossy.

So as you can see, I transfered evrything, inc the kit, over to the new one and having to be 2 different colors would look kinda funky, not that this look isnt funky either. So I decided to start up the prep for new paint, in stagesI might add, and eventually ge it painted between: Gunmetal, Midnight Blue, Black Mica, or the new RS Blue. Still havent decided so, help?

On the other hand, I must say I may be falling in love with this concept. Really, it just gave me a chance to seee my car black of some sort.
I will be taking more pics of the front later on.

i like the flat black it looks real good. but. from a distance it just loks like a floating top of a foci. deff need some color to make it look better

Thats lookin nice. I may have, wont take the credit, just have done that to my car but thats part of the bumper and the whole thing would have been needed to be painted, if anything I could get away with a different red tone. But oh well.
One thing I would like is a tint job....
