I know that n00b "hi all" posts are soo cliche, but I thought'd I'd introduce myself none-the-less.

Today I pick up my 2005 Focus ZX3 SE, and I'm pretty excited.

I am a Honda fanboi (previous car was an Integra), so I don't know too much about Foci, and it would appear that there is a wealth of Focus knowledge here.

I plan on being the permenant underdog with my Focus in the SCCA's Solo2 HS class. I hope that I'll be able to sneak into the trophies like I did in '03.

Anyway, howdy!

What color car did you get? Theres a ton of info here and feel free to ask any questions you have, everyone is more than willing to help.

Blazin' Copper! w00t
I really like the color, and it's nice to have a car that has a nice paint job again. My integra was white, and the paint was horribly faded.

EDIT: haha, it automatically puts /email tags around anything with '@' that's teh funnie to me this morning, and yes, I'm bored at work

Welcome! Glad to see your going to compete in your car. We have a hardcore group of motorsport people here so check out those forums if you haven't already.

Welcome.. definately make your way to the road/rally forum, there are a few hardcore Solo 2 Drivers in there, one of them is a regular at nationals with a few trophies to his name! The focus is a good little car, not the best in class for Auto-X but it's competetive.. you'll have fun

Well, I'm a "side-lined" hardcore autocrosser.

I'm no national Champ, but I've brought home Hardware from Topeka

Sigh alother one! I think i was the first on the jet with this car and this color, and now its like all the 05's you see are this damn color!

But welcome none the less
