There is no point arguing with you though, because you'll just back up your opinions with more opinions, and likely only provide evidence of data that supports your opinions, while glossing over data that doesn't support them.![Image]()
As much as I love my 2004 F150, I'd take a Titan V8 crewcab (white, black interior) in a heartbeat.

So, you have no direct experience with the Titan, yet you are convniced that the F-150 is superior? Maybe you should go drive one before you rush to judgement.

So by your logic, the Civic is a better car than the Focus purely because it is more popular? Sales figures are in no way related to the quality or durability of a product. There have been a lot of crappy vehicles that sold in large numbers due to creative marketing or fads.....and it was roughly 900k F-150s last year, not 1 million. Not to mention the Silverado outsold the F-150 in June of this year...does that mean it was a better truck that month? There is a lot more to sales numbers than you think.

Well for years the north american puble has bought millions of f150, do you think people would buy them if they truly sucked? I vcould go through the titan boards and post about 30 threads about people complaining of their trucks brreaking down,falling apart, running like crap but i am not going to. Yes the f150 had it's problems with the whole vibe thing,computer needing to be reflashed etc.. but the launch has been smooth and they sell like hot cakes. I may not have direct expierence driving a titan but i do have expierence with the f150 and it will sure take a hell of a truck to knock it off, i doubt the titan will. I think everyone here is just lusting over a truck with 600hp and not lookin at what a truck is really meant for, work. I want a truck ok not just some vehicle with a crpa load of HP, look at the lightning it's fast,powerful,looks great and it still works. I dount this thing could haul anything just like that srt 10 ram, lucky it can tow a bag of groceries. WE be lucky if that titan even makes production and it would probably cost an arm and leg.

Just reading for 5 mins i found people with front brakes going bad fast,dash ratling like an old cavalier,condensation building under the carpet,tranny problems when towing just a 3000lb trailer,breaking axles,trucks pinging
Oh yah that is one tuff truck i tell yah. I will stick to my f150,i guess that why all my local mechanic freind's tell me the same. I have a good friend who test drove a titan and was not impressed and he has been driving trucks for 15 years

Well having worked on all these trucks except the titan b/c thier isn't one in about a 200 mile radius from here. Wonder why, the movie is the truth it's not like it a big lie to get you to buy a f150, the truck sells itself

People are "ragging" on you because you are trashing other products that you have pretty much zero knowledge of, NOT because you prefer the F-150. You're not going to get respect slinging around opinions like that.
It's great that you love the F-150 so much, you're entitled to it, but if you can't recognize that some others are going to prefer something else, then you have much to learn.
The beauty of the automotive industry is that we have the ability to choose what we want, and not everybody wants an F150.

I have no problem with that either, anyone can buy what they want but if people want to potentially throw thier money away on just a crap load of HP then go right ahead. Id have more time with titan if someone around here bought one but like i said there is none around here at all just dodge,ford and chevy

Chevy Sold millions of cavaliers.... Ford sold millions of escorts, tempo's, and the Taurus. Does that mean they weren't all peices of junk????
You have to remember that there a millions of fanboy's in the middle of this country and have been raised into a Ford or GM mentality. Also i can bet you those nice fat 900k per year sales figures also include massive amounts of discounted Fleet sales which mean nothing because American Companies are almost forced to buy American for fleets (police, Gov, and so on).
Then on top of everything you have to remember that the average american doesn't know squat about real good quality cars.
I bet you if you spend ten minutes on one of the ten F150 forums you'll find people having just as many problems as the Titans. There is NO SUCH THING as a perfect car! Especially now in the internet age with the power of Forums like Focaljet you will never find one Forum for a car anywhere in the world that doesn't have one complaint on it. But if people bought cars because of how many complaints they see on an internet forum then nobody would ever buy a car..... especially Foci. Shame because the Focus is such a great car too.
