Honestly wheel color to me depends on the vehicle, and the look a car is going for.

If there is allot of black accents on the rest of the car, then black wheels fit, if there is allot of chrome on the rest of the car than chrome wheels fit.

It all comes down to the overall look of the car.

In general chrome tends to be more showy, and black tends to be more of a “badass” look.

I love the black wheels we had on both of our project Foci so far. They fit the theme of each vehicle perfectly. You don't put silver wheels on a car that is covered in yellow and black, or red and black. eesh...
A woman after my own heart!

All black and shiny chrome wheels don't work for me. My taste leans towards plain aluminum and then anthracite.
cheers.

Or we could start a "Rant on Silver wheels"
I'm good with that, because I hate silver/chrome wheels. EVER freaking car on the road has silver/chrome wheels. Anybody who doesn't has cool wheels, and since Black isn't silver/chrome, its cool

I don't mind black wheels/rims. Everyone has their own taste and different reasons for the choosing of their rims. I personally hate it when people say that white rims/wheels are a things of the past. I personally think white rims are still on the the sickest (yeah I said it..SICKEST!) exterior mods around. Ask the WRC, they'll tell you white rims rule.

To each his own is all I have to say. I've had gunmetal w/polished lip, I've had silver, and I've had polished silver, but next I'm going all black. It just fits the theme fo what you're doing. It's like some people think big body kits and such look stupid, but hey, if that's your thing then so be it.
