yeh you guys need to get in a new explorer/F150/Sporttrack/escape (and their merc brothers)....

it really is something, they are sharp. Only thing that annoyed me about the Mounty/Explorer were the interior door latches, but im already used to them after driving it 4times.

and they added a secondary interior door handle on the armrest (instead of the one down by ur leg)

Since most car companies don't do that already?

The interiors of alot of bimmers, audis, chevys, etc look almost completely identical. It works.
I was talking about the exterior, its amazing how many times i'm with people who are pretty knowledgeable about cars and we have a tough time telling the difference of some Ford trucks because they are all starting to look EXACTLY the same.......

Most car companies share a similar look or a trademark grille, but many of those cars still look very different by themselves. Ohh and just because some other companies are doing it doesn't mean its right........ Yes some of the bigger Audi's, A6 & A8, look practically the same except size.

But honestly any decent car guy can easily tell the difference from a 3, 5, and definitely 7 series......... They share the same designer but they are all very distinctive. Very different headlights and front facia's except for the grille of course.

Looks like a cheap Opel/Ford dash to me

im more intrested in knowing what that big red button is? the one mounted on the dash.

i personally dont like this interior.
I know!! I know!! That is a new option added it is called the passenger seat ejector button just like Bond's Aston Martin DB5 had in Goldfinger. If someone disses the vehicle just a push of the red button and out they go.:D

J/K ;)

Honestly I really have know idea other then possible part of the test equipment still being used.:dunno:

If you can't tell the difference between a Escape/Explorer/Expedition (esp by size), Your friggen blind

Not to mention the Escape has never shared a grill/headlight treatment that the Explorer and Expedition had till the 2008 model where it shares a similar headlight shape with the new Expedition.

Your the one thats mentally blind... go have a cookie.

I didn't say the current escape is designed exactly like the other designs (though it was pretty close to the Freestyle), i said the picture shown of the next Escape looks just like the Expo and Explorer.

Expedition, yes. Explorer, not really. Ford seems to be banking on the rugged looks of the Expedition with the 08' Escape. Works for me.

The exterior looks like an orgy between the last two generation Explorers (95 to 99, and 00 to 04), a new Honda CR-V (the extrusions on the bumper and side skirts), and a Kia. Interior looks amazing from the angle.

I'm also surprised the 3-bar grille didn't make it.
