Congrats on the kid! And that sucks about the damage man. But if it makes you feel better, the centercaps are on their way to you!

Repairs approved today.. Not totaled... I know the body shop owner and he knows im a computer geek so he is also going to roll my fenders for me in exchange for about 1-2 hours work on his computer.

Get my car back in a week

Just in time for me to shake it down before driving to the stick for that 'Drive ST' event.

Edit: rental is a Mazda 6.. Liked these cars now I've driven one... Not so much

Body roll and the tranny slips more than the one I just removed from my focus. Only driven for 15 min so far.. It is better than riding the bus.

Got them.. Cars still in the body shop so I haven't got to try them Yet but sizing against the oe if there is a fitment problem I believe I can solve by removing the spring ring for installation and re-installing the ring after the cap is on the wheel.

Referring to my car or deez nuts?

Seriously wtf how hard is it. Why wouldn't you tell your boss so it could be fixed before the customer got there.

Yea side wall sidewall is missing from my tires that have less than 100 miles on them. How do you even do that in one ****ing spot like that.

On a rock? It took a chunk of sidewall out.

I guess I'll live with the sidewall but they are re-doing all 4 wheels next week at their cost.

In the alignment shop now getting measurements cuz my rears are rubbing pretty good. Probably going to get camber arms who's selling some?

Fronts I was worried about and surprisingly haven't been a problem yet... He is correcting a toe problem up front is all.

That's not what did it.. The tires are new so I was planning on getting an allignment before this all happened. Only to find I'm in spec with exception to camber.

One of the body guys messed the wheels up without question. He's trying to say they didn't do the 3rd but he is taking care of it anyways. The 3rd I even have a picture of and a statement from an agent saying there is no damage so it's interesting which wheel he picked. At any rate it's getting taken care of he is an honest guy. Just tired of having **** go wrong with my car I just dumped a significant amount of cash in it I just want to enjoy it for a while now.

back to the million Dollar question. Will those load/air bags do any good? If they truly add 1000 lbs of capacity that should stiffen my rear enough so that it doesn't rub crossing un-even intersections etc.

He says they rolled the fenders but it doesn't look like it the lip is still in the way.

So ramble ramble. I'm thinking these bags plus camber bolts and bending the inner lips back will solve. Agree? Feedback?

You need to make sure you tow specs are correct.

BTW, "in spec" doesn't mean **** on the focus. You need to make sure you run exactly 0 degrees of tow per corner in the rear and between 0 and 1/16th tow in for the front.

Update: running roughly 3.3 degrees of camber in the rears after camber kit.

Beat the crap out of my lips.. Tires pretty much never rub now. Still think overload bags would be good for a car full of kids but not an immediate requirement.

Put stock wheels back on so new ones could be repaired
