here is me proving to myself that i was 2 seconds faster and i should have been in 2nd place instead of 3rd had i been able to finish this run

here is just my fastest lap you can see me shake my head exiting the corner just before the second slalom..

that was me getting to far in it and loosing traction twisting just enough to loose a half second to that stupid ass versa

eff that versa. all it had was freaking sticky tires and a manual box it was stock.

last sunday.. rear end was trying to beat me through every corner even aired down totally blew my confidence in the slalom.. i was very slow.

i'm getting new softer street tires for the rear before the next event.

ordered a pair of FEDERAL SS-595

these will go on the rear for street and auto-x duty. significantly softer than the all seasons i'm using now. hopefully this helps me put more power down when cornering because the rotation was fun but is making me look bad.

first event on new street tires in the rear (summer 200 tread-wear range compared to balding all seasons in the 500 range)

I still consider myself a novice but i'm starting to get a better feel for how to better manage acceleration and braking to setup suspension for cornering.

Any reason you're steering like that? it's making your inputs choppy on entry, not good for traction.

^point of reference? With exception to when I took that corner way too fast after it bogged I thought I was smooth

@gordon .. Kind of took your suggestion on regional thread.. The dirty Pennies are clean with enough left over to do my auto-x wheels.

Car went to the shop this week. Big 3 replaced and the vac line going to the brake booster burst.

Had a decent amount of oil in it.

Catch can recommendations???

In the process of purchasing a sonata turbo. Process phase: identifying which one I will purchase.

Plan: lower it, tune it, and some slightly wider than stock reps. Light colored car with black wheels.

It will retire the focus from daily duty.
