Insomnia sucks. 6 hours of sleep combined over the past two nights. Yay.

Waaaay too much on my mind it seems, hotel beds don't help much either.

dude I slept like crap too. I think I finally crashed at 1, then all I could hear was BOTH my dogs smacking their lips. Not much more annoying than that. maybe 5 hours of sleep. maybe less.

Wife left the denali unlocked

Some one got in went through all the compartments. Doesn't appear they took anything.

Aside from built in nav DVD etc there wasn't anything of value in there.

II couldn't find the registration. Any value/exploit available if they took that?

The sales contract was still in there and they left that.

i have one sitting on my work bench with less than 5k miles on it. (assumes svt mount is same as zetec)

make an offer
Thanks for the offer, but no, it's one of those SVT specific parts of course. They've also jumped in price. About $175 now for the OEM Ford one. I'm going aftermarket again since this one lasted 20k miles and they only take 15 mins to swap out.

I've had insanely long, vivid dreams the past two nights. Where I normally don't recall a single second of sleep. Last night's dream I had my Focus back and was purchasing a set of EAP rims (yes, just the rims, cuz, ya know how EAP wheels are 3-piece and all) for $32 each and a fuel cell for $12. From somewhere in the East Bay. Antioch-ish. Yep.

I really, REALLY want to go back home and go to bed. I've been up working every night until about 12:30 or 1. Going to bed while thinking of what I'm going to do to accelerate development time and how to allocate (the best) resources for system testing. This project is plotting to kill me. I can practically taste the freedom of 4 nights in Tahoe next weekend. It really can't get here fast enough.

Hoping everyone in Norcalandia has a great Thursday!

No, I'm going to accompany my wifey and sister-in-law to a handgun safety course at MSI. I think I was in high school the last time I had any firearms safety instruction.

so yesterdays 'break in' that wasn't a break in and more of my wife leaving the truck unlocked has lead to her approving me bringing my gun over from my dads (she didn't want it around the kids).

well i ask my dad for it and he basically says i can have it when he dies its a collector its not to be used!? hah not going to argue with the man so i'm going to go get a little pea shooter.

since the lot of you are fanatics thought i'd run it by you... i'm looking to get something new, something cheap, i go to the range maybe once or twice a year if lucky.

the marlin 795 has my eye because of avaialble mods and low price.. its size will be less inimatding for my little girls id like to take them out when time allows. so that said any feedback? i haven't really heard much about the marlin brand but online reviews have been good.

If you're going for home defense, just get a shot gun. Ratchet that thing once and no one sticks around.

the likeleyhood of me ever having to use it for home defence is null but thats what every one says to get DW approval to buy. the gun my dads holding for me is a shotgun. it was my grandpas who knows when ill see it again hah. i will probably change the stock and put a scope on it then be done.

the guns more likeley to be used for daddy taking girls to the range longer term and short term teaching my brother in law how to shoot. he's lyterally never shot a gun in his entire life. but he expressed some interest so i got him a gift card to go to the range.. the gift card will go further if he doesn't have to pay a rental fee.

Shotguns at the range suck IMO.

edit: unless you can clay

Thanks, buddy. It's just one of those projects where we are relying on the projects going in the release before ours and there's a bunch of services the other projects should have modified based on the changes they made. Of course those prior projects are throwing the crap they can't do at us. We're doing Agile for requirements and development in a non-agile environment, so getting the customer on board with a "new" methodology is fun.

I remember the days of "Just throw the fix in prod tonight, We'll have Bob test it after the build". I'm hoping we catch everything before UAT. I pride myself in not implementing crap.
