I'd be there in an instant too, but I just don't see why they would go to san jose for a street course and not hit up laguna seca. Why not somewhere more accesible or big? I don't know..... that would be awesoem though.

No Road America! Maybe they will go there on 9/4 (TBD date). Otherwise it is clear that there is just too much crack smokin' happening at Champ car headquarters. And to poo-ppo Laguna Seca for San Jose??? That crack must be laced with somethin'

Open wheel racing just sucks now. F1 is a parade, IRL puts on a reasonably good show--but all ovals is not the answer, imho, and ChampCar just axed two of its best tracks.

San Jose makes sense... Silicon Valley Sponsor dollars. Wanna bet the event is the "Adobe Grand Prix..."

Street course racing is AWESOME.

Whenever I can make it to Long Beach... I go! Its amazing to see these guys do crazy stuff on the streets you and I drive every day!

Street course racing is AWESOME.
The only thing I find interesting about street course racing is that the margin for error is nil as the walls are the border of the track, but for the most part, most street courses make for parade-like events with little opportunity for passing--and from what I understand they are not particalarly popular with the drivers in general.

Nope, gimme RA, Mid-Ohio, or Laguna any day. Add in Mosport, Road Atlanta, The Glen and a handful of other fine permanant courses if you need to look for venues...way better racing on a permanent couse.
