you're not going to learn anything on anything labled a "pocket bike" escept how to be obnoxious to other drivers. They are primarily made in china and korea in the worst quality imaginable.

They are not the same size as a motorcycle, they are not geared or controlled like a motorcycle.

There is nothing you can learn from a pocket bike that applies to a real motorcycle that you can't learn from a mountain bike.

If you're serious about learning, buy a bigger scooter, or just a small motorcycle. Do everyone a favor and don't be "that guy" that has a tries to ride a pocket bike.

Hope you have some place to ride it in CT. Around here if a cop sees you on one on the street or sidewalk it's "bye bye" bike. They are automatically confiscated and you get a fine up to $500.

Obnoxious kid down the street was riding his up and down the driveway till a cop caught him swinging out in the street to make his turn around. "YAY".

Nik, please note the locations shown in the link you gave. As for your comment to my previous post, the cop was there by neighborhood request after the kid had knocked one woman down while riding on the side walk.

Pocket bikes are illegal to have on the street under Maryland Motor Vehicle code. In addition the kid has 5 places within a 10 mile radius where he could take the bike and ride it legally.

I have nothing aginst pocket bikes in the proper setting. But having them on public roads falls in the same class as street racers in my opinion.

the link was just about pocketbikes being actually useful as training aids.

i think pocketbikes are a nuisance too, but if you want pocketbikes on neighborhood raods to be illegal, so should kids on bikes and trikes and razors and everythign similar. They're all nuisances and quite dangerous too.

If you'd said the part about him knocking over the lady I would've had a different response.
