was this w/nitrous? or w/just the bolt ons you just listed only? if you have a genuine zetec...2.0 dohc theres no way in hell you pulled something of that nature w/only those mods

That was not on the bottle. If it helps, my car has nothing in it except for two seats and half of a dash. My friend chris posted up pics of the inside a little ways back.

 

The last time I ran on the bottle I was running a 65 shot. Then I ran a 13.82. For those who say weight reduction does't do anything, I beg to differ.

how much weight were able to remove. becuase you get about one tenth of a second for every 100 lbs so if you get rid of alot you will make a hug diffrence

i had those mods plus a water pump pulley , alternator pulley, long tube header(which makes more power than shorty) instead of shorty header. and an early 2k mani and ran 15.6xx. not saying i am the man but i had more than you and i like to think i am a decent driver at least in a straight line. and there was very little gas, and only a driver seat all the other seats and spare and such were gone

I ran 15.645 @ 86MPH with I/H/E/SCT/UDP/OMG/WTF/BBQ, crappy two-piece 2001 manifold, full interior, all the seats in the car, etc. :dunno:

Maybe he's a very good driver. I wouldn't mind seeing the slip as well, though.

physics wins over good driver. even if he has a factory freak its not going that fast with those mods

but if he proves me wrong i will promptly apologize and take back everything

i dont doubt the driver i doubt the cars capability to run that quick of a time with that minimal amount of mods

 

a 14.98 is not a realistic time but if you did it then pat yourself on the back.

 

I've seen his car in person and you guys would not believe how gutted it is. The interior is literally a seat, pedals, and a steering wheel. He's also removed a lot of metal from the interior with a cutoff wheel.

In addition he is a very good driver.

passenger seat is for the girlfriend.....but yes the interior is GONE on this car, have to see in person to get the full affect! Good time!
