So four of us ended up meeting up in Tulsa to post some pictures of our Foci; Jimmy (Phacade), Jason (Ataru), Andrew (02AllBlackSVT), and Doug (Walls2004). Right away Jason's camera went belly up when its batteries went dead, then my wife had us cut things short before we got too many more. As it was, we ended up getting alot. You'll have to excuse my off-the-wall humor with the story-line on the fly, but I thought it was funny. Yes I'm a geek. I admit it, but hey; thats the way I roll.

So...on with the shots!

#1 - We were supposed to meet at 8pm, so I washed my car all up and got there a few minutes early and began taking a few pictures. Yep, Attila is sporting himself a new shorty antenna off my old '75 Datsun 280Z. I'm funny like that.
Image

#2 - 8:15pm and I'm still waiting. Where are these guys? I got the right location, right? I mean, how many parking garages in Tulsa at the mall are there?
Image

#3 - The sun begins sitting and Attila begins to feel lonely....
Image

#4 - The sun has fully set on Tulsa, Oklahoma. Here we can see downtown from the top of this parking garage. This empty, empty parking garage. Where are those guys?
Image

#5 - Hey...whats that sound? Its a bird...its a plane... Holy crap on a stick its Sonic coming in at Mach 6....
Image

#6 - Sonic having arrived, the rest of the gang is sure to arrive any minute. I love the way this photo makes Sonic look almost heroic.
Image

#7 - The rest of the 'gang' arrives. "Hey, whats up?"...."Whaaaaaaats up!"
Image

#8 - Andrews new SVT could almost be firing machine guns with that Starburst coming out of his car. Way cool.
Image

#9 - I like the nightlife. I like to boogie.
Image

#10 - Tried a more sepia tone here, which gives the cars and the environment a more surreal appearance. I like it, almost comic book-ish.
Image

#11 - Doug posing inside his '05, the only '05 out there I might add. He's got a killer sound system inside that thing. Check out the reflection on his door!
Image

#12 - Naturally the SVTs begin talking while the '05 tries to listen in. Poor '05.
Image

#13 - Oh he's going for it now, he's no longer stalking (thats S-T-A-L-K-I-N-G Andrew) us, he's gunning for us.
Image

#14 - Denied! The SVTs saw him coming. Best try something else...
Image

#15 - Ugh oh, whats he up to now? Are those fire trails?
Image

#16 - Damn it, why didn't someone tell me the '05 Focus came with an optional Flux Capacitor?
Image

#17 - Yes, we've all learned an important lesson today; never leave the '05 out of the discussion. Not only has he got some nasty chrome teeth, but he's likely vibrate you to death with that license plate of his.
Image

#18 - Andrew has already headed away, leaving only Jimmy and Jason behind to ask the age old question. "So Sonic....whatcha wanna do tonight?" "Same thing we do every night, Attila....try and take over the world! MuHAHAHAHAHA!!"
Image

#19 - "Attila? Attila? Ah crap. I must have fallen alseep again, I do have over 100k after all...."

Awesome pics! The commentary had me rolling.

The pic of Jason's car + the skyline is AMAZING. Well done.

I too love that first shot of Jason's car!

You guys don't mess around with the photo shoot. You must've moved cars around like a millions times. I like the effort!
Actually, we didn't move the cars THAT many times. The first 4 shots were taken from different angles as we left the cars parked the way they were when we just arrived. Most of the other group shots had the SVTs all in one spot, we just moved Doug and his 05 around sinve he was the lone man out.

If we had more time (Jimmy had to leave early and Andrew had his g/f along with him and she was getting BORED) we would have taken a LOT more pictures and moved the cars around even more.

I wanted the picture of Sonic and the skyline ever since the previous Thursday when Andrew and I met at the parking garage and he posted pics from then. Problem was we didn't have a tripod, or my camera, for a decent picture.

I told Jimmy that was the ONE shot I wanted all night long and I didn't care if my car was in any of the other pictures as long as I got the one with Sonic and the skyline. :D

It's my absolute favorite out of all the pics, that's for sure. :)

Lovin' the new sig Jason!

Awesome pics!
 You're the first person to notice it. I posted pics of my car at 100,000 miles on a local board and one of the guys says:

Jason, that Focus is far too clean for 100k.

Your car wants rally.

So I told him:
I agree as well, my car wants rally. But you see........my car is like the guy who knocked up his girlfriend and now has to live with the responsibility of taking care of his soon to be wife and kid. He had to give up what his life could have been in order to do the responsible thing and is now stuck in a boring doldrum of an every day routine......going back and forth to work, and every once in a while gets a small reminder of what his life could have been like had he kept his pants on...
Of course I had to shorten it a bit to stay within the signature guidelines. They didn't get the joke on the other board......they thought that analogy was referring to ME and not the car.

....and only hours later did I realize I left a bottle of just barely opened Pepsi on the top of the parking garage.
