So I have been wondering about this for a while now... How do I know if I have a 2.0L or 2.3L? My Focus is 2003 ZX5...automatic
Thanks.
Not from my memory. The 2.3L was available in any Focus as either an option and/or standard, depending on the state. I recall Car and Driver doing a Short Take on a 5-sp wagon (ZTW). It was mainly to cater to "green" states.j20000 said:nope....the 2.3 was only available in ZX3's from 03-04. After that, the 2.3 was only available in the ST sedan. All other duratec's were 2.0's
Yeah....I guess I worded that a little unclear...I just worded it like that because he has a ZX3...so I was using that as my example. You could get the 2.3 in 03-04 in other trim levels, but 05 started the use of the 2.0 duratec as the standard motor, with the 2.3 only being available for the ST.GapBoyPCS said:Not from my memory. After reading the entire post, we actually have two points:mievil said:I thought it was worded just fine. :dunno: The 2.3 was only available in the ZX3s during 03-04 in certain states, and only the 2.0 was available in ZX3s all the other years.
