This is pretty damned nice, Seems like it would be a nice little crossover competitor for the CX-7 and vehicles alike.

Autoblog Spanish, recently posted on the debut of the 2007 Honda Stream, a model sold in Europe and Asia that could best be described as a four-door, three-row minvan. The new Stream's design seems to borrow heavily from Honda's current design language, which places a large brand badge front and center in a wide grille that's flanked by sharply shaped headlights. The back of the Stream resembles a CRV with taillights that run up the rear all the way to the roof. The seven-seater with a fold-flat third row reminds us of what the Odyssey might have been had Honda not turned it into a traditional minivan here in North America. Traction control and an automatic transmission appear to be standard on the base model, while a six-speed is likely for the sportier RSZ. We're still a bit unclear as to what engine will be available, but from what we can gather there'll be two, one of which will be a 1.8L i-VTEC.

There's also rumors floating around that forces within Honda North America want to see the Stream on sale in the States.

The looks aren't bad but two issues:
1) How much is this thing gunna weigh... a naturally aspirated 1.8 liter? Cmon mang. The Odyssey is cool because it has good power and good fuel economy despite its size.
2) The Japanese should really let their NA branch handle the names for over here. Honda Stream? Cmon... a bit too R-Kelley, dontcha think?

Good possibility that if we get it it'll have a different engine lineup...

I like that.
Although it seems it would kind of crowd the Honda SUV lineup since there is the new Fit, CR-V,Element and Pilot.:dunno:

I have driven the Mazda5 and loved the size/packaging. I have been very tempted to buy one, but haven't b/c I won't buy a vehicle that gets less than 30mpg hwy and /or has poor resale value (don't ask how I bought a Focus). Recently, I've been eyeing up Accords, but would jump all over this model if we're lucky enough to get it. These "space vans" are way cool for small families, and with their ability to haul big stuff, they are a huge improvement over a sedan. Now I better not show my wife this one..

I'd expect the Accord 4cyl.

I won't care what they call it. Just bring it over!

Thanks for posting this up:thumbup:

How well is the Mazda 5 selling so far in the States? I know locally I am seeing quite a few of them, and the only one that the local Mazda dealer currently has in stock was last year’s demonstration model (which was FULLY LOADED). If the sales are VERY good for Mazda so far on the 5 I would see Honda bringing this over. If they do this may be the new taxi of choice! The old 4 door odyssey was getting very popular as a taxi vehicle (Honda reliability) and good space but not too huge a size. If it comes over here with a 2.0 motor with good gas mileage and decent pick up people it might be bought up again for that.

Mazda might not be the best indication. Honda is a bit of an oddity kinda like the MINI. Some people will buy anything Honda makes. Look at the Ridgeline, i don't have the numbers but i see them EVERYWHERE..

yeh it does look like a Civic Si and a Mazda 5 had too much to drink, went home together, and BAM

love child of the sexy proportions. I like it, tho it needs to be boosted definitely or it will ruin all my love for it. Without power, that thing sucks. (just like the Mazda5's downfall)
