I recently took the turbo kit off my 00 ZX3 because I was trying to trade it in on a new car. I still have basically every important piece of the kit, including the turbo itself, and I could really use the money, so I'm putting them up for sale.
The turbo is a DSM T25 originally bought from G-Pop Shop for just under $600. It was well-taken-care-of with maybe 1,000 miles on it, most of which are highway miles, and it had been oil and water-cooled its entire life. When I uninstalled it, I made sure there was no shaft play in any direction, there are no cracks, and absolutely no oil in the comp. housing. This is a solid unit, and with the right tuning, it could push your Focus to over 200whp. Here's a link to where I bought the turbo with all the specs from G-Pop Shop: http://gpopshop.com/products-page/mitsubishi-dsm-turbos/garrett-dsm-t25-turbo-with-brand-new-chra/
I would ideally like to get $150 out of it, but I know (more heavily) used ones go for less, so I'm open to offers
I kept my stock Zetec manifold and fabricated a short adapter to mount the turbo. I had to clock the comp. housing a bit to make the charge piping easier to route, but there are no fitment issues at all. The adapter has been SOLD
The FMIC was bought second-hand as a new unit. It's 28"x7"x2.5", and besides having a few bent fins near the bottom from rocks and such, it's still functionally sound. This has also been SOLD
I'm also selling most of the supporting mods for boosting a Zetec Focus, including:
Set of Green Top, 42 lb/hr injectors - SOLD
DSM BOV, by itself or mounted on a short piece of 2.5" piping - SOLD
05+ Mustang slot style MAF, by itself or mounted on 2.5" piping - SOLD
SS 3AN Oil feed lines from Stealthmode Performance including a t-fitting for the tap in the engine head @ $20 OBO
AEM UEGO wideband with O2 sensor @ $150 OBO SALE PENDING
Oil psi gauge @ $15 OBO
Boost gauge @ $15 OBO
A-pillar triple gauge pod @ $25 OBO
2.5" Charge piping with silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps - SOLD
SVT fuel pump @ $50
TurboXS manual boost controller @ $30
The MAF was bought brand new from VMP Tuning. The charge piping was bought, mostly as B-stock pieces from Columbia River Mandrel Bending. The silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps were bought brand new from Silicone Intakes. The oil feed line was included in a full kit, bought brand new from Stealthmode performance, but unfortunately, the guys from the last garage I took the Focus to kept the SS oil return line and replaced it with some 5/8" high heat hose from NAPA. The turbo comes with all oil flanges already attached as well as everything needed for water cooling minus the actual coolant lines.
The only few items you would need to boost your Focus, in addition to this kit include: a tuner plus the tune itself, tapped oil pan and oil return line, downpipe and larger exhaust system, copper line for the oil psi gauge, vacuum lines, air filter for the turbo comp. inlet, and a set of one-step colder spark plugs.
I'll sell the entire kit for $750 OBO
If anybody wants any combination of pieces of this kit, I'll make you a deal or you can send me an offer.
I can get more pictures of individual parts, the whole kit together, etc., just let me know. I'm located in Parkersburg, WV 26101, and you can PM me or, preferably, email me at ericbrumba@gmail.com. Thanks.
