Hey looking into my fuel supply stuff for my 08 build I was wondering could I use the Aeromotive 11141 340 Stealth In-tank fuel pump this thing looks really promising and was wondering could I simply plug this in the place of my stock fuel pump or is it still better for me to run a new line, filter, regulator, rail and return?

that had to be the fastest response in focaljet history lol Oh your boy Fernando has got to be one of the coolest guys I've talked to in a long time he's a real cool guy willing to help me out gave me alot of knowledge on what I'm trying to do gave me options everything it was real cool

and a deatsch what? like model number? Fernando said if I use walboro 255s I need two run a 2 into 1 and then the return stuff I was looking to see if there was a single pump option where I can run one single line in a loop

ive also heard of using the ford gt fuel pump. ive seen it go for around $185. How much power are you going for? I'm building my 08 as well and talked to FSWERKS about the fuel system. they made 436whp on the stock pump

I know I saw that thread...im looking to push the envelope and make 500-600 just to create motivation I'll probably never run her that hard but I'm going to build it like im going to run her into the ground at 600 when really il run 450hp on race day to run 11.50 index and push 300-350 daily driving just to give people a hard time

Im stuck in decision time right now he explained to me I can make the big number (600) and have more usable horsepower if I go big and get the GTX3582r turbo but its laggy and not very good under low boost (daily driving) if im interested in just making enough power and worried alot about daily driving power (low boost and spool up) go with the GTX3076r smart guy.... but is making me think too much with such a tough decision....

well thats one vote for the GTX35 I'm going with you guys kit probably with a 3" downpipe since I'll upgrade to a trubendz 3" exhaust

only minor issue is to make sure these crane stg2s will work when I use the massive speed head and an 07 cam shaft position sensor

3" is not big enough for a 35. You need a minimum of 1.25 X the turbine wheel diameter. 1.25X68mm=85mm or 3.35", so call it 3.5" for a gt35 to perform at its optimal level.

Does the Ford GT out perform the SVTF one? I have seen the Cobra guys running the SVTF pump. If it does, is it direct replacement?

No way will I go E85 there is no where in our area that I've yet to find that mess at. Remember i'm in bowie and go to school about 30 minutes from OC there are no E85 pumps anywhere....I just want something with a decent spool on it that I can make big power with....i think imma go with the bosch 044 like "gforce" did. It works out well...what turbo are you using?

http://www.madomestics.com/page.php?p=ethanol-e85-stations That link lists all the E85 stations in the Mid-Atlantic (that I know about, I'm sure there's more).Every year at Ocean City hot rod weekend, there are cars driving around all weekend on e85. They're getting it somehow and I doubt its from a drum. I need to find where the stations are close to there so I can add them to the list.

Notice none of those are near my school the closest listed there is Annapolis there are none I know of in Salisbury yet we have ethanol free stations out here. I'm not interested in e85 I want what i'm use to paying for which is $3.36 premium....I dont want a corn car lol

Plus I travel alot my aunt lives in Bear, DE but I go to places like Philadelphia, PA and even Stolle says the MPG on e85 is crap I'm in college so I need the best MPG I can get with this build....thats where I will save money is keeping my foot out as much as possible...if not well I fail and will have to suck it up and still pay for 93

Thats the pump im going for is the bosch 044 already seen how to hook her up in my canister.....I want a street/strip car something to have fun with and beat on these people driving around used BMWs with fake gucci bags on my school campus.....and on the strip lay down 11.50s without working too hard....we might let her eat and see if we can hit 10s but I got to think this is something I have to drive everyday so I got to build this car as such....E85 doesnt do that for me in my situation...yes occasionally she will be flying down a road just to show off but I must be logical...she's being built like she will make 600+ just to have the best stuff in there though

Trust me if I wanted a race car outta this thing we would go with Antoine's plan and she'd have some big slicks on those front tires....he wants that car to try chris miller and those guys with some special parts made from his buddy with a CNC machine....good news though for us focus guys I'm talking him into entering the focus scene since he is a fabricator and a very good one in making parts for our cars at a very good price...parts in discussion are stuff like suspension stuff maybe motor building services custom all out race stuff custom brackets he has some real cool ideas he sees alot of weaknesses in the focus chassis that he says he can build stuff for...

I discussed that with him but he really can't compete with the driveshaft shop with their reputation and pricing for what they use in their builds....stuff like that requires casting and such they are the people to go to...unfortunately they are high as hell on custom job I just dont see Antoine getting in that market...

On your axle inquiry we talked to drive shaft shop for me to get a custom set made to hold up to a very realistic 600hp they are saying thats only a $1000-1200 job which really aint too bad of a price considering the majority of that is hours doing research from the factory axle to making something stronger

You'd probably have to bring the car to him for that...thats the real deal im not the best donor car because stuff like that takes time to form a jig for to basically weld stuff like that up on....I'll ask him about it thats not a bad idea though I never thought of that but thats certainly an all out race modification for a daily driver with how roads are I wouldnt recommend that i'll go up there tomorrow and we will talk about that I'm sure if he can get a mock up on it and get enough pre-orders and deposits I'm sure he'll do it.
