how rare can you get? pretty much any kit in production, we've seen here on FJ...

 

yes, i have a rare kit.....thats right, i went and designed my own body kit, spent hundreds of hours making the molds for it, then a few thousands to make the molds adn made my own kit.........or, i paid somone thousands to make my kit from scratch, then i took the molds, broke them intlo hundreds of peices, put them in a bucket, filled said bucket with lead and concrete (just to make sure) chartered a cruise liner (so i could go straight to the middle of the ocean and back and still be back in time to go to my $10.00 an hour job) went to the center of the ocean, and threw it in so no one could have the same kit as me. i will post pics of my one of a kind b/k later.

i see what hes saying by rare body kits but i dont think any are rare unless you custom make one. I hate it when someone has the same kit as me, but then again i live in maine and there are only like 2 foci that are done up and i havent seen another sedan with the xenon body kit except on here

 

I personally havent seen a "complete" kit that I like. So we are going to piece together a kit from parts of other kits. That's what would make it a rare kit, as you couldn't buy it AS a kit, right?

That's kinda funny because the Erebuni kit is one of the first kits to have ever come out for the Focus....

 

Yeah but since then no one really has it on a focus...and all I see are Kaminari, Wings West...etc.. The main thing I like about is that it includes the top grill already with an emblem holder...Don't get me wrong on this about being rare or not, it's just that I haven't really seen this kit anywhere compared with other kits.

 

Not a lot of people have it 'cause the fit and finish. I love it though!

 

So do you guys think I should go with the svt side skirts and svt back bumper? or Will it look to plain and stock? Remember it's on a black focus...I know svt back is the best in silver..etc...opinions..please..

In all serious ness EVERYONE wants a Unique kit but unless you make it yourself it wont be rare. Mass production of a kit is just that. MASS! Good luck though.

I love that front, but I think a it needs to be paired with some more exotic pieces than the stock SVT's.

those gaps are quiet nasty imho. definetly an eye soar

 

my favorite kit isnt exactly aftermarket. its the EURO kits. subtle wins more points with me than some kit that leaves someone wondering... WTF??

Thats the stock bumper.
The back is in the works and I might make custom sides if I dont find a set of used kaminaris.

 

grill is also modified stock,

I still have to put mesh back there though. should look good with blue mesh behing the grill and black mesh behing the bumper opening, just have to find some good stuff. None of that home depot mesh is going on my car.

i've seen the erebuni in person and it fits better than in that pic. if you notice, thats an apc hood and they are known to not come down all the way to the bumper.

Well actually it is the hood that's making it a gap..I dunno if it's the APC, or the way the hood is installed but the kit is definitely a good fit...it's also polyurethane..so that's a plus. So...which side skirts and back bumper do u guys recommend with this front...It's hard to find a good match with this...any opinions..i'll definitely consider...thanks.

I sorta had a kit that was rare in the respect that not alot of people had/did the stuff I did, but it's now gone and I only have pics to remember it:

It was a mix of Stoffler Tuning and Lumma tuning, as well as custom made Lumma Tuning splitters.

I have a VERY RARE kit. There are 2 in the world. I have one and the manufacturer has the other. Carcept has not released the US spec kit yet. It looks as I will be selling the one I have becouse it is getting away from racing and that is what I am building my car for.

 

I love my full Kaminari kit. The front fits as well as the factory, but the rear takes a LITTLE finess to make it look ok.
