This has probably been covered (dunno, since the search isn't working) but here is going to be my version.

Started from center console switches yesterday.
I'm not going to repost the "how to" in here, but you can read it from NSK website by clicking this link.

Probably today I'm going to change the lights in electricwindow switches in doors. Stay tuned!

Wow that looks good. I might have to do that with my car.

nice. Would you consider selling the LED's presoldered with the resistors on them and prebent so all you have to do is desolder and resolder the new ones in?

Err... Do you think that it's so hard to do that doing what you said would be worthwhile?!?!?!?!?
Surely I could consider... it's all up to how much you would pay.

You don't need any resistors, the switches have them already, bending the rods is simple also. I've done all my switches awhile back...after all I found out that the doorlocks switch had l.e.d.'s in them!!

Nice now I can match blue to my deck.

The red in my deck already matches and I sure as hell dont like the green too much.

Depends on the led. The ones that I have, have high treshold voltage, so the original resistor is too big. Surely they work, but they don't give much light then.

I would like to do this and also change the greenish light behind my SVT guages to a blue, is this possible?
Just wait... I'm not done yet... (although I dont have SVT, but anyway) we/you will see later if it worked or not.

I got my l.e.d.'s from here . 3mm is the size you need.

Has anyone changed the lighting behind the center console? Are the HVAC lights LED as well?
And of course, if I'm gonna change all of those, then I'd have to do the factory stereo as well.

Has anyone done the LED swap in the stereo before?
Thanx...looks awesome!

The HVAC's are lit by small bulbs. They produce a white light and are colored green very close to the surface of the HVAC plastics. If you want to change the color, be prepared to spend a few good hours with a dremel tool grinding away plastic to get to the green film.. then put in whatever color you want.
