I liked the fact that the Bosal is stainless steel and the HKS is coated aluminum...

It was a last minute decision

 

i have had the bosal chamelon ex. about 6 months and its great.i only had one very minor problem.one of the screws that held the tip in came of all by itself.other than that its great.

Sooo, how's the sound of the Bosal? I'm an old fart and looking for something fairly quiet for my new ZX3. Anybody got any pictures of the bosal installed, would sure like to see what it looks like. Our other ZX3 has the AEM, but thry're not available anymore.

 

I'll be able to tell you more when I get mine installed, But do a search here, on "Bosal", and you'll find everything from NICE dyno's to the reputation as being one of the "quietest/warmest" aftermkt. exhausts for the Focus.

the bosal is fairly loud from my experience, but it's a deep loud, not a buzz bomb. there are a few threads on here with mpeg's of the sound. as for looks, it's got one of those 3" tip canisters at the end so you definitely know it's there. i'm planning on getting one soon.

just got mine last week. LOVE IT. looks good..sounds good.. you can totally control the volume by driving like you stole it or like grandma...can still roll in the griveway at 2am without waking up the parents...or wake up every neighbor on the way in

first off, of all focus exhuasts, its 1 of the quietest, if not the quietest. Second of all, i love their tips, the tips are nice and clean, small. But right behind the tip is that canister muffler which looks so sweet. The sound is awesome, the power is great, the build quality is outstanding, sounds really tuned

Ok I remember reading a while back that this exhaust system would hang low and you have to mod the hanger or sumthin??? how low it low? like HKS low?? i think Im gonna end up with this exhaust myself

 

for pics of the system....on car...no mods on the hanger...look at my car on daves photos

 

the system doesnt hang low, just the rear muffler canister, which can be easily adjusted higher up
