JRSC was installed way back. No initial problems.(everything else is stock.) But lately I started to have this problem where my car would start to violently shake/hesitate when I hit the 5k mark almost every time. Then it's fine again all the way to redline. I shift the gear up and it'd happen again at the same 5K mark. I initially thought it had something to do with YRFO flashed ECU regulating the fuel injection at 5k mark for the DSI setup, even thought I no longer use it. Today the problem worsen as I now have it happen at random RPMs. I even went to the last gas station & made them test octane level from the pump I used last and it turned out fine (just over 93.) Car is at the dealers now, but their initial computer scans showed nothing. They're charging me for one hour of labor to look into it further, even thought the car only has 25k on it. Any idea – I’m dying here….

I would say the DSI relates...the computer changes timing when the DSI opens, so thats probably what you're feeling. Like a really bad surging..Did you get the device that attaches to the DSI cable to it gets tension? (thats not part of the issue I'm sure).

Are you using the "powercard" for tuning, or do you have SCT? If you dont have SCT, I highly recc. one.

Check your plugs too. Doesnt hurt...make sure all the plug wires are secured. Sounds dumb, but its usually the dumb stuff if its not DSI related...

Is the frequency of the shaking proportional to road speed or engine speed? If road speed, it could be half shafts or CV joints. If anyone doubts me, please look at my car because I've repaired or replaced everything else that could cause this problem. You're feeling the shaking at that engine speed because that is approximately where the engine produces the most power. It will get worse slowly over time if you have the same problem that I still have.

I would say it may have something to do with Timing, maybe the VCT is off. If you are using a stock Flash of the ECU i can tell you right now, that it wont run right with a supercharger on it.
