I think either the OEM like ford one that you can get a a dealership, or the Steeda one. But the steeda one still has a guage bezel and shifter area.

 

update... we went to the dealer and they said we need a part number for it and they couldnt look it up for some reason. i think there jerkin me around. also i dont want the one that just sticks on i wanna get the whole piece in carbon fiber. anyone got any idea, i got an 02 focus book straight from the dealer with a picture of it in there so i know they make it. just gotta find out. please help anyone

I think they are jerkin you around for sure. I went to order a ford part and they didn't have a part number. Hell the guy didn't even know what the filter was too but he managed to find everything just fine.

 

The big stereo bezel in the center of the dash? But you dont want the sticker kits.. I dont believe anyone makes a carbon fiber replacement part.

There was a post a while ago about someone putting a CF weave over top of stock parts, but I dont know if they were ever done.

I'm not a big fan of the vinyl sticker kits, but you might be able to find something on ebay that will sell you the single piece.

 

The item in the Ford Focus catalogue is a Carbon Fiber "look" piece, and it looks like ASS in person. Very cheezy, very Ford OE.

No one, currently, makes a true CF replacement for that part, or an other dash component.

You will either have to have someone make it for you (major $$$) or settle for a quality set of overlays (which is what I use):

Uhm, 1mortoy, ya dissed my setup in that statement, I do believe. And yes, U R right, it is your opinion. I'll take it for that, and I acknowledged that in my post (which was a bit moody, but I was tired).

I am well aware of what IMO means, as I was using that short back in 1981 on what was then the internet (.edu URLs galore, all text, 2400 baud modems were screaming, searches took 48-72 hours, damn I'm old).

Depending on the car, I either go clean or a little flashier, however, if you look at my car (link in my sig) you will see, it is far from a cluster [censored], as you so nicely put it.

I agree,overlays look really good.IMO the whole car looks really good.

possumX, did you have to trim or cut after putting it together? I'm assuming its a very EASY install

 

I Like the multiple peices of carbon fiber, i wish there was more peices to the kit. Thanks for the link to goodtrim! Theirs someone with a focus in my city with the red carbon fiber kit. Havent seen it myself though, just heard about it. I've seen the pics of the egg yellow kit, but would love to see a car with red. Great touch if you have those red inserts in your seats!
