Its here and its finished and its the best. Here is what it will do

Chipmaster is who made the Autologic software and is now hooked up with Diablo sport what a combo

We can do this in chip form with 2 settings and now can do RPM to 10,000 and a lot of other goodies

Or and here is where it gets good we can do this where YOU flash your own ECU with this unit ,And you will be able to make Timing and fuel changes as well as ATX shift,PSI and many many many many more things ,,

It has a built in real time scan tool so if there is any issues you can tell us what it is doing AND send us the file via the internet we make the changes and send it back via the internet and you load the new file ,,NO MORE SENDING THE CHIP BACK

All for less than 500.00 exact price in a day or two

We should have the SVT finished this month and it works the same way

The best for less

So what exactly is the difference between this and the DiabloSport Predator tuner that's been in the works since before SEMA 2002?
Image
It is/was (it's out for GM stuff I think) the same form factor, reads OBD-II stuff, has the ability to download files from a computer (thus the internet) and flash them, etc.

This seems much less powerful for the end user than the SCT solution.

It is the predator but with the chipmaster revolution backing it up now

Yes it has been out for GM for some time and some Ford products but never for the Focus, ZX2, Contour and many many more

At over 300.00 less and you can still tune your car i think that carrys some power to a lot of people

No need for a bulky lap top

Built in scan tool small and easy to use

Tune your car with out having to go through all the things needed to be a good tuner ,,Just because you have the SCT software or any other does not mean you can tune a car correctly ,,With the CMR we do the tuning and you only have to fine tune it

Tom.. don't mock that. SCT did solve a spark problem on the SVT. I have their tune, and my car is so much more smooth now than it was from the factory. There is a full thread on the changes they made on the SVT over at modular depot.

And this chipmaster revolution is the same as the "racer package" from SCT. The Racer Package is only 495.00 and it can change the rev-limiter, make small adjustments to timing and so on. I don't think it has a scan tool, but it does pretty much what this one does, at relatively the same price.

The Racer Pro package is what is 800.00 and is way more full featured than this. You can pretty much tune anything you want to tune with that package.

I'm not at all knocking this, I'm stoked that there are more options for our cars. Just stating what I know.

I'm sure it's a great product, because I trust autologic!!

Come on guys, instead of speculating and blindly comparing products wait till they are available and then you can decide what's right for you based on real data.

Having competing products only helps the end user get a better product!!! Bashing seems to be a popular past time but I'm not sure it really helps anyone out.

We'll have a flasher available soon too so you can compare directly.

Tom is just announcing a new product and shouldn't get beat up about it.

David (tired of the flame wars)

Belacryf,,QUOTE,Tom.. don't mock that. SCT did solve a spark problem on the SVT

belacryf i guess you have forgotten that we have had a tuned SVT for well over a year now ,both with the uni-chip and a flash ,And i posted the Differance in the Frequancy change from the SVT and the ZX3 and the timing problems a year ago (altho not describing them in detail like SCT has done ) because we have never given out a lot of detail on our tuning on anything

The SCT PRO self tuner is a great unit but there is a LOT of people out there that DO NOT need to be tuning there own cars ,,Mail order chips suck and there hard to do and get right the first time ,This will cure that problem and if changes need to be made we can to it in less than 5 Min if need be over the internet as well as the customer can fine tune with his hand held unit

David i am long past the idea of not having flame wars on focaljet, Shoot i even start some of them ,you might as well jump in with both feet and realise these guys are a tuff croud

Tom, I know you've had a tuned SVT (you seriously think I forget anything
Image
). But since you don't share, it's tough to say what you have and haven't done. But I'm not saying yo haven't solved it, I just know SCT has done it as well.

As for the differences between the units, doesn't matter to me. I'm sure they will both be excellent. But it is important to say that the SCT racer package is right on par (price and functionality wise) as this product. Just some minor feature differences most likely. Nevermind the racer-pro, as your'e right.. it's not for everyone!!

Either way, I'm glad it's out, and I can't wait to see what people are able to start doing with it, and even more so.. I wanna see what it does on an SVT

Great news tom, and wow what a great reply from dave, As i said before your all very helpfull (at least on focal jet),
Guess now it comes down to what people want and what works best.
Tom i can name about 75 people that own eec-tuners and stand-alone setups that attempted to tune their own cars (alot of 4,000 dollar 2.6 strokers and aluminum d-port heads gone due to "i wanna be cheap about the tunning attitude".)
I'd rather visit the tuner every once and a while and say whats up give me a hand rather then be married to em and have them support everything and have to blow 2-300 bucks every time you need timing changed 2 degree's.

this is definitly a plus

YES you can make changes your self to the timing , fuel and MANY other things with the hand held unit

You have like a small window of say -+ 5 Deg timing and -+15% fuel,,Its like we do the tuning and you can fine tune it for when you go to the dyno or the track

Tom
Will this be available for EEC-IV cars as well. The Merkur Project could really use this. The TwEECer is not too user friendly.
