I know there has been some discussion about this.... just got off the phone with Ken @ Cosworth (And FocusSport ;) ) and it looks like it will be available in about 2-3 weeks according to Cosworth. So when FS picks it up (I hope) I will definately be ordering one... looks like a real quality part, just like the other Cossie stuff...

Here is a link to the instruction guide Ken sent me.

I've done this already. While this is an easy mod I had to do some custom hose work... the only thing I dont like (not Cossie related) are the pinch clips holding the hoses on I switched most out to old fashioned hose clamps (the screw tight type). Just make sure you get the hoses the Cossie discription says it comes with. I never got 'em sent emails and couldnt wait any longer. I used the hoses from the heater core I took out which with some cutting worked beautifully for me. As of right now I have no pics but will try to post some when I get the chance. Any questions I'll do my best to answer them. Take Care

I ordered mine from Focus Sport a while back when they first appeared on the Cossie web site when I first inquired about it with Ken, he said they were stiil working out some things in the kit to try back at a later time. When I spoke with him again he told me to call Focus Sport and order it through them which I did. At that time it cost $149. Wish I had waited for the $35 price. From Focus Sport its part # FSPR6630. Got it 10/28/05....

Not to doubt you.... but I find that kind of odd since when I called FS they had no knowledge of it.... but oh well....

Any installed pics??? Have you noticed much of a performance difference??? Do you monitor your oil temps???

The benefit of this unit is two fold, not only does it help cool the oil under heavy use, but it helps get the oil up to proper operating temp faster, reducing wear and increasing economy.

The only thing you have to worry about is overloading your cooling system on high powered cars. However, I don't think this is much of an issue.

So what type of bolt did you end up using? Also, is the install the same? The Escape parts look exactly the same to me.
