Exhaust is done! :D A CFM high-flow cat pipe was installed with a custom 3" flexpipe, and everything back is 3" including the 30" Magnaflow resonator and the Magnaflow muffler. The entire thing is stainless steel, including the hangers and v-band clamps. Also used Powerflex urethane isolators at the rear to prevent excessive movement and to help handle the weight.

That does sound awesome. Where did you find a 36" resonator? Depending on the cost I might just weld 2 18" ones together if I ever change up my current setup.

The 36" muffler is Magnaflow #14641, the rear muffler is #14329.

Nice any way to get the same with just tubing and no dampeners?
The same tone without mufflers? I highly doubt it.

No same system with out dampeners, ie just tubing.
I honestly have no idea what you're asking.

I believe he's asking if you can get just the tubing with no resonators (sound dampeners) and if so where.

Sorry, I kinda assumed anyone would know that tubing is just tubing. :D Of course you can build an exhaust without mufflers. My whole exhaust is custom from three "U"s of 3" stainless steel tubing. If I didn't want mufflers, I'd have to get about 4 feet of straight 3" tubing as well. See here for example: http://www.burnsstainless.com/304tubing/304tubing.html

slverfocus13: I didn't weld it. The guy in two of the pics did all the welding and fabrication.

Thanks guys. :)

LOL mine does the same thing, just on a lower octave.

I still want your Mach. LOL

The resonator just hangs too low for my liking, but Magnaflow doesn't make a 30" resonator with a smaller body. I sent them an email so we'll see what happens. I love the sound but the angle I need to pull into my driveway is just out of hand.

Not trying to hate on your stuff but... I think the 30" would have been more than enough so why the other muffler too? Just curious.

All I have is one 18" in the middle and all I can't hear the exhaust over the turbo spooling under the hood! at least until the wastegate opens then all hell breaks loose!

Because I want it quiet, and the other muffler fits beautifully where it is. :D

Get in a stock Focus and note the volume. Then get in your car. Mine will be somewhere in between.
