Someone please tell me the differnce in the Quaife differential and limited slip differentials. I know that there is a huge price difference but other than that...??

The Quaife unit IS a LSD diff. You are asking the difference between a BigMac and a hamburger.

Surely we are talking about the difference between a Quaife, and an Phantom Grip.

The Quaife is a complete replacement LSD.

The Phantom Grip is an add-on kit which uses your existing differential.

Which is better? You probably get what you pay for.. I have a Quaife.

Yes thats what I was meaning to say. I knew that there had to be a difference since the price was 500 bux apart. I would need a Quaife then. Since I only have the one side that bites.

yeah, I have a one wheel wonder myself. Haha. I was thinking about putting a Quaife in this winter. Just a bit of info; Ford puts a Quaife in the RS Focus (so you know it's good) and they just dropped the price to $600 (so you know it's affordable.) Now's the time to buy. Go with the Quaife for sure!
