and the point of it is? Personally I think modifying it with some nice autometer gauges would be beter.
more cost effective, sure......but you can't beat the style and creativity points for something like the fill digital setup. Impressively cool, just way too much $$$$

That's stupid.

It does nothing stock with a few gauges doesn't.

Any real car guy would get this:

Lap times anyone?

The point being is to have the digital fit inside your stock gauge pod.
so then you look like you have a mid 80's car? :what:

Things like RPM are much better shown with analog gauges. You do not need to know the EXACT RPM at any given money, but you want to see the rate of change over time, to time your shifts.

if you want to impress me I would like to see a car with an LCD based display that can show custom animated gauges, and have the gauges change location based on what info you pull up, similar to some of the new Mercedes cars, THAT would be cool. This just makes your car look 80's fabulous and makes the car LESS functional. Also any pictures IN a car? The pics they show just look like you stuck small digital gauges in where the old, bigger and clearer analog gauges are suppose to go. Not worth $1,000 imo.

The Pumpkin has a digital dash and it's really pimp. However I couldn't ever justify the extra cost when I could put it towards soo much more stuff

see now that does not look 1/2 bad, and is has both analog and digital style read outs. Much better than just the # display shown on that site. as a "sample"
