Things like RPM are much better shown with analog gauges. You do not need to know the EXACT RPM at any given money, but you want to see the rate of change over time, to time your shifts.
if you want to impress me I would like to see a car with an LCD based display that can show custom animated gauges, and have the gauges change location based on what info you pull up, similar to some of the new Mercedes cars, THAT would be cool. This just makes your car look 80's fabulous and makes the car LESS functional. Also any pictures IN a car? The pics they show just look like you stuck small digital gauges in where the old, bigger and clearer analog gauges are suppose to go. Not worth $1,000 imo.
