do they make a valve cover for a duratec 2.0? or is everyone just painting them? just curious
Have no fear, full interior, FS lip, RS wing, harnessbelts, SVT degas cover, nitrous crap (excluding bottle), 80% full of gas, and hawker pc680 battery, I was a pig at 2640lbs. Take out a few things...less fuel...yeah, it can get light FAST.Z63R said:Drat. Then that would mean I'd have to lose the SVT coolant tank cover too.
Nah, just grind those big weights off of it.EnixStorm said:Personally to reduce weight I'd take out my engine crank, that's like a good 38 pounds right there![]()
clean as ****:bow:Zekester said:Like Joe, (Egz) stated, he painted his cover. And a nice job he did too...! But from personal experience, powder coating is the way to go. I painted my cover first, but just didn't hold up very well, especially here in the northeast. So I ended up getting it powder coated......

I know that I weigh 230 and three pounds don't mean a thing. Since I'm not worried about ETs, I think I'll opt for looks - THE CAR, I mean; I'm beyond help.pitchblack23 said:Nah, just grind those big weights off of it.
Is yours the plastic cover?Like Joe, (Egz) stated, he painted his cover. And a nice job he did too...! But from personal experience, powder coating is the way to go.
