When i put the gear in "1" position and take to 7000rpm, it seems like the fuel cuts off at 5000rpm, and i can't go any higher/faster or accelerate beyond this point in 1st position. However if I put the gear on "D" and drive, everything is ok, just not in the "1" gear. I have an ATX and my engine is practically stock with an intake, fc tb, afx udp thats it. What could be the problem? Is my transmission ****ing up? Thanks, any help is appreciated.

chris, iamgod is correct. you're most likely hitting your rev governer/fuel cut.
with the setup you have, there is no need to pull that high. your peak powerband will be in the range of about 42-4600 rpm. Anything past there you are going past your peak and just putting extra strain on the car
