All I can say is that im not the slightest bit dissapointed!

I am a Jetter for life... but project Toolebox will have to live on only in our memories... (unless another jetter buys her and fixes her up!)

as an addition... to all those who have ragged on me for the past 2+ years about driving an ATX focus...

Great choice man. Those cars comes with turbo from the factory. Now u can go big.

Yeah, and the same horsepower as a naturally aspirated SVT Focus.

Just messing with you man, I am a HUGE fan of that car. I went to look at them before the SVT, but Ford was able to get me the better deal. I loved the 2003, but the 2003.5 looks even better, and you got the right color! Very nice!

don't flame me, but what does the re-flash do for the car?
the car has quite a few stumbles and burps throughout the power band...

the re-flash slightly adjusts the fuel map as well as moderately adjusts the timing at certain points to clean up the band and smooth out the power. It also has dyno'd a couple extra ponies at the wheels

Nice! But that begs the question, why do you have to go back for that? Why don't they do it before you buy the car?

your guess is as good as mine...

but it should be a quick in-out appointment

as for getting a boost controller, etc... the car is staying as-is... the only mods i have planned are tint, and my sirius antenna that's on it's way...

im lookin forward to hours of commercial-free heavy metal

They don't do it ahead of time because they don't want to put any extra "expense" into the car unless they are forced to. Imagine someone buying an MSP that knows nothing about
modding like alot of us do, and is so oblivious that they don't even notice the stumble.
Then Mazda/Dealer just made more money on the deal
because they didn't have to absorb the labor hours.
This is commonly refered to as Micro-Management or
cheap ass bastards.

Now that you know, if your ever in the market for a MSP,
you can make sure the flash has been done before you take it home.

BTW - Everything you've read and heard about the sweetness
of the handling and brakes on this car is true.

And who took those picures? They suck.
