Feeler: Anyone looking for some wheels??

Well, the time has come. I'm needing a change in the wheel department. I was wondering if anyone local was looking for some wheels because I really don't want to ship them. They are 17x7.5 Rota Attacks (15.8 pounds each) in "Steel Grey" with a polished lip. They are only 1 of 10 sets made in steel grey with the polished lip. They have a 45 offset and the carbon fiber looking center caps (2 of which are only a few months old). They have NEVER been curbed or bent. They do show some minor road wear from being on my car the past 4 years though. The rear wheels are mounted on 215/45 Yokohama Avid H4S tires. They have about 50% tread left. The front wheels are mounted on 205/40 Yokohama Avid H4S tires and are brand new (cost me $186). I went with smaller tires up front so I could go lower without rubbing.

I forgot to mention that this is for 5 wheels. One of which I used as a spare and has NEVER seen the road. It is mounted on a 215/45 tire, but it is a different brand...I believe Continental, but I could be wrong (I'll check tomorrow). I really want to sell them as a whole set and NOT just 4 right now. I'll also throw in 2 spare center caps and all 16 McGard chrome lug nuts and key to remove them.

These wheels alone retail for $200 EACH, but I am willing to let all 5 go with the tires for $700. Here are some pics:

I would Luv to have them....not sure where i'd get $500....getting ready to spend money saved on my timing belt job.

Bah! You don't need a timing belt...haha. Yea I am dreading the day that I will have to do the timing belt which will probably be next spring. Your going the right way and buying a new tensioner and pulley right? I think I checked the prices not too long ago and could get it all (belt, pulley, and tensioner) for around $150. You'll have to let me know how it went.

Yeah got all my parts from Steve....also adding new radiator hoses i got on a group buy on here, along with a new water pump. I've really liked your wheels alot along with ASA AR1's....If i had the money i'd really like to take my stock 5 spokes and have them chromed. I need to re-tint my windows & buy new tires again also. and to top it off i hope my clutch will hold out ti'll next year...

Mind if I ask ya about what you got for all the timing belt parts from Steve...you can PM me if you wish. I'd just like to get a good idea of how much it will be. Funny you mention the ASA AR1s because that's what would replace the Rotas

I'm still saving up for a true Euro wheel, just wanted to change my daily wheels.

Hmm I wonder how those would look on my car.... Are you just straight up trying to sell? Or trade them? Mine have offset 42... not sure if I would rub with 45 and 215/45/17 tires or not....

Bah! MARK! Dang you! I just bought tires! Would you be willing to sell only the wheels? I'd love to have these, but no extra money's now! Gah! Maybe in the near future....

It it won't rub! If your et42s don't rub, the et45 won't either. If anything you have less chance of rubbing with the et45s. I ran the same tire size without any issues.

I thoguht it was the other way around? the higher the number the further out the wheel is....

If you want to wait a few months i would love to take them off your hands but it would be april or may before i had money..unless you want some SVT stockers

The higher the offest, the more the wheel is 'tugged' in. The lower the offset, the further the wheel gets pushed out.

Ryan, I can't make any promises that they won't sell before April/May, but I'm not really in a rush to get rid of them.

Just wanted to let you guys know that the price increased to $600 due to me forgeting to include my spare tire/wheel combo....haha. So $600 gets you 5 wheels (one of which has NEVER seen the road) WITH tires!

Right now I do not want to seprate them and just sell 4. You could always buy them and sell one of them yourself if you want or use it as a fullsize spare which could come in very handy since not many steel grey with polished lip Attacks were made.
