Here you go guys. I just picked one of these bad boys up, and thought I'd share it with the community.
I myself, have never been able to find good, detailed photos of the Focus specific STR fuel rail. I thought I'd photo every part, and tell you a bit about it, just to aid in future buying desicions.
The rail came with all the hardware needed to install it, and even some extra injector o-rings, and an alen key.
When installed on the car, it will look like this.
The rail looks AMAZING, and is designed wonderfully. I also have the Steeda and SHM rails to compare this too, and I must say this is by far my top choice.
Every surface but the bottom of the rail was polished after milling, but before anodizing, to get rid of ugly C&C milling bit marks. The sweet STR logos seem almost "printed" onto the rail, and look very durable and should hold up fine.
The only odd, but interesting thing about the rail's design, is that it moves the fuel feed from the end to the top a few inches away from the end. I'm sure the factory fuel rail feed line will reach this new location with no problems. Once again, all the hardware required to mount the fuel feed fitting to the rail WAS included.
Here's a few photos of the new feed port.
That concludes my review. I'll post some photos once it's installed in a few weeks. I'm waiting to finish my turbo set-up.
If you have any questions about the rail or any of it's components, let me know. That's the whole reason for this thread.
I would of killed for photos of one of these before I bought mine. Hope you all enjoy.
