Congrats!arty: I think that makes three or four Cali. FJ crossovers going GTI so far. I know The Smurfs are looking at a Rabbit, and Laz is going GTI. There are a few others on the fence too. What do you guys think of FocalMKVJet? :lol:

 

Love the GTI. The retro crosshatch and complete interior are probably my favorite things about the MKV. Although the euro stubiness is sex too.

ive never heard a gti called unique. theyre a dime a dozen gti's that is. oh also europe isnt part of america so there for it would be imported also. unless i missed the memo that stated germany is now part of the usa:lol:

 

you need the APR tune. If you buy the APR exhaust, it includes the tune. (a 499$ value) take your recipt to your nearest APR distributor and you'll pick up a reflash that adds about 60 hp and 80tq.

i don't see why everybody has the need to pick his post apart. we all know what he meant and yes i would say they are pretty unique atm, i have only seen about 3.

i already supported what i meant as well as most who understood, but thanx for chiming in after the fact.


and they are far from a dime a dozen in comparison to Evos and Sti which have been around for more years, thus making more them common than the MKV, sweetipie.

 

THere are more modded Evos and STis in socal than you can shake a stick at. They're like the Honda Civics of the day. (those and 350Z/G35 coupes) I've only seen a dozen or so GTis so far, and none were modded.

You want something unique? Buy that MKV that sicko posted and throw a twin-turbo Cobrajet motor in it, a 6 speed Richmond, some 18x9 and 18x12 3pc HREs, a full tubular suspension w/ coilovers, and a lic. plate that says: JDM SUX. Keep the rest of the exterior and interior stock (minus a sleepy 'cage and a harness, of course). Now that's unique for ya.
