Zx3_Phocus:

They said an AWD version has currently taken a backburner until they get the RWD version done and ready for sale. But its not completely out of the picture. They just think they can be much quicker with this RWD version.

Anyways, ron, how bout you finally put a link to all those sponsors, you know, on their name, so people can click on it and go straight there, i think its simple, but would make life 100 times easier, just an observation

I am sure the project is cool as hell. However, what's the front and rear weight ratio after mod? With RWD now, it might be quite hairy to drive this car if the weight shift more to the back.

The first goal is to reach a 48/52 (F/R) weight distribution

Straight from the article.

I imagine heat is a bit of an issue inside the cabin. Well, at least it will keep you nice and toasty during the winter. hehehe.

I realize that it will be an enclosed compartment when it is done, but it is just funny to see an engine sitting in the hatch.

If you got a race header, you could have a big megaphone exhaust sticking out the back, ala bug style.

In all honesty, I didn't think they were gonna be able to do this. It's cool to see that they actually followed through with the project.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">From the 5 min ride i got in the car i honestly didn't notice much heat coming into the front of the cabin. But again the engine was covered for our ride. Also noise wasn't too bad either, nothing more than a focus with an aftermarket exhuast.

While i was looking at the engine in the hatch i actually thought of the old style beatles with that huge exhuat pipe. It would look pretty kool for a few laughs on a zx3

Take it to a Ford dealer for warrenty work, and video tape the mechanics reactions.

"Hey Bob, take a look at this. This car ain't go no engine!"
