1st question: How do I make the stock fog light switch independently? ie I don't have the have the lights on to be able to switch it on and it stay on when the high beam is on. is it even possible? the one I've seen from focushacks, I've heard it's not good because it routed the power through the switch in the cabin instead of through the relays.

2nd question:
how do I pull a harness to the cabin for aux./extra fog lights? which way is the easiest to go? is there any like grommet/hole cover that I can take off so I can put a harness for the fog light through?

I have sap btw, I'm thinking of mounting the fogs in the lower grill area and hack a few of the grills of for opening. it's all black so should be good.

any suggestion and ideas are welcome :D

There is a fog light mod sticky, this will allow you to turn on the fog lights with the city lights, and stay on with highbeams. It is different on the 00-04 and the 05-07. Easy to do though, and worth the 2 minutes. The switch does need to be turned to the right once before it will allow you to turn on the fogs.

To get the wiring inside for another set of lights, you can go through the rubber boot for the steering column. If you have an automatic, you can drill through where the clutch would pass through the firewall.

I have the SAP, and like the look, not sure about hacking up the grill. Take a look, as there are a couple members who have added lighting behind the grill, and looks great. If you want to lighting to be functional, but not the focal point, leave the grill intact.

well, the one on the sticky is the same from focushacks. someone on FF told me that it routed the power through the switch directly and the switch may fail because of it.

any body has done the fog lights mod on 07 ZX3?

my relay setup is totally different from both axon's and the one on FF ( http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=128944 ). it double as highbeam and fog light relays and it's R2, not R13. without the proper wiring/schematic diagram there's no way I'm doing this. I'm not about to fry a circuit for that matter.

there is 1 NO and 1NC (I think) switches on the relay. I just put it back on the way it come out.

any suggestions/ideas on 07?
