Tight field! First 12 drivers practically all within 1 second. Sucks Barrichello got the shaft when they purposely had him go first in case it rained later in the day. Hopefully some good battles between Barrichello and Kimi though.

Haha... Schumi didn't look too thrilled to be second for once.

I'm going to take a guess and say Schumi 1, Alonso 2, and Sato 3 (if he can keep from blowing up) with Montoya as a wildcard.

Yeah... and Silverstone is this weekend!

I believe Silverstone is my favorite track to watch. Passing everywhere, high speed, nutty spectators, awesome. The brits rock!

My fortune cookie this morning said Kimi's going ruin Michael's almost perfect season this weekend too.

Re: France Grand Prix

Yeah, Sato is an interesting story. Even though the guys not much taller than a 10 year old and has this really high pitch voice, he's probably one of the most intimidating drivers out there. He's either going to pass you, or take you out of the race trying. Good stuff.

I see 4 rising stars, with long careers ahead of them.

1. Davidson - Even though he does get more laps than the normal drivers, the dude is on fire for Fri and Sat practice. He's going to be snatched up as a regular driver fast.

2. Sato - Absolute biggest balls of any driver out there. Needs to learn how to shift better though to keep from blowing up the engines.

3. Alonso - Extremely well rounded driver. Still one of the youngest drivers out there, and he can drive the crap out of just about anything. He's had a string of bad luck lately, but when the bad luck ain't present, he's always at the front of the pack.

4. Kimi - Though you'd never know it by this year's performance, the kid is one of the best passers and general "street fighters" out there. As soon as McLaren fix their shizz, expect to see Kimi breathing down the neck of the top of the field.

Some good drivers working their way up.

Re: France Grand Prix

Actually. after I posted that, I realized that maybe I just thought it was an extra good race because "ma' boy" was battling for 1st. Might not of seemed like such a great race if you're a Montoya fan.

Re: France Grand Prix

lame race over all, follow the leader again. If i could be MS for a day, i could come back and retire.....at 21
If you thought that was a lame race, then maybe F1 racing is not for you. Plus, it was FAR from a "follow Michael for 70 laps" race.

Unbelievable race! Has to be one of the best of the season so far. Well, I had Schumi and Alonso picked, but I should of known Sato was going to blow up again, and sounds like JPM was not a happy camper with that car.

And I'm sure Trulli is kicking his own ass around the garage right about now.

Silverstone should be a good one as its nice and wide, with lots of good passing zones. Maybe we'll see another crazy Brit in ass-less chaps run out on track again too.

Schumi is unstoppable. But Renault has them next year.

Re: France Grand Prix

yah i agree, if he has button engines then im sure podiums would be no problem. But i dont think anyone is willing to take notice of him...i guess thats what im trying to say. For whatever reason, i just dont see other teams taking interest in him for a ride. I mean, he took a season off and test drove for BAR. Massa tests for ferrari and gets a sauber ride. Sato just doesnt get respect.

Re: France Grand Prix

i think sato is still maturing as a driver. he is super good but needs to fine tune his skills. give him 2 years and he will be at the top of every race. he could also use a more durable engine considering he always seems to find a way to blow it up.
