I fail to see the bad ass part of this commercial...

I am sorry but the commercial is more about selling Detroit than it is about selling the Chrysler 200. After seeing this, I want to move to Detroit and join a church chior. Then when I have free time I will jog in the snow before I go to figure skate... But I do not feel the need to buy a car.

At least Chrysler has an intersting spokesman with Eminem.

I thought it was pretty lame, and even more lame that they where pushing the reskinned Serbring, um 200 in it..at least it would be a bit better if they where plugging the 300 in it.

I see the 200 suffering the same fate as the Serbring, fill up rental lots across airports in America.

^^ Eminem appeals to a fairly wide audience(i think), he's been around quite a while now, and on top of that he grew up in Detroit. I know not the only famous person from there but seemed like a good choice to me.

I agree with the rest, didn't really seem about selling cars but selling the idea that American cars are not trash like so many people continue to believe.

They make boring cars, they needed another foreign car company to try and save them again and like you said, instead of building a completely new car, they continue to beat the poor horse that has been dead for quite some time now, known as the Sebring.

I loved the BMX X3 commercial and the Darth and VW one too. The Focus Rally America one was cool as well.

Mehhh...

There were way better commercials than this one. This one was cool, but far from the best.

All the press are saying it is a reskinned Sebring, and from the roofline I'd agree.

The platform is still a Chrysler/Mitsu JS.

...but on the plus side, I guess the rework was extensive, including structure and suspension geometries, which means it should act and feel like a totally different car.

I get a kick out of all the camera angles used in ALL the advertising so far. It is like they're trying to avoid taking any direct shots of the roofline.

Having seen one in person, I was kind of bummed... I was hoping the Sebring wouldn't shine through so brightly. It was silver, unfortunately... they do look best in black.

On the topic of the commercial, I dig it. I hope the car does well. I'm just about the only person I know that didn't hate the previous Avenger/Sebring.

yeah i read they wanted to make a new car but didnt have the time/money and just changed the front and back. and i dont really think of eminem when i see a 200 lol. i could see if it was a 300 since a lot of wannabe gangsters drive those..... and my vote for best commercial this ear is the doritoes attack pug one!!
