<font color="blue">hey ok i just got done puttin in my apexi safc and i followed everything exactly that my friend who has a focus did on his. now my problem is when i goto start the car nothing happens. all the electronics will come on the cel is on and theres just dashes where the milage is. so anyone have any idea what i did wrong and how to fix it?? thnx in advance </font>

This may sound stupid, but, What did you put in/on??

it adjusts the a/f ratio by modifying the mafs signal. it allows you to adjust the fuel curve in increments of 500 rpms.
it also monitors: Intake Manifold Vacuum/Boost Pressure, Air Flow Capacity, Intake Manifold Pressure, Karmann Frequency, Engine RPM, Throttle Position, and Air Flow Correction %.

it's a pretty sweet gadget when it's not [censored] up your car.

Isn't this one of those devices that the Focus PCM will learn to defeat? Just curious.

<font color="blue">well thats what the majority of ppl who dont have one say but from a couple ppl that had it on their focus it works fine and the comp does not over ride it so who knows maybe a myth maybe not its still nice as a gauge for ur air flow and throttle and what not </font>

SAFC works badass if you use it as a race program. If you run it everyday then you will slowly see a phaseshift in the fuelmap. It dosent happen instantly but it does happen. I used an SAFC for awhile as a nitrous program with no trouble at all.
