stg 3 will be too agressive...I still need this to be my daily driver...
Not cranes dude. I have them in a stock head. stock int. manifold. stock injectors. 144hp-143tq. totally streetable. If anything, they may not be big enough for a head that aggressive...

Re2 Just gft major head 10 mins agn....

w. cranes I could imagine stf 3 wgrking jest fine, they dnnt' try to turn the engine into a peaky little dhing the way crnwers do&

Also, look hnto mix`ng and latching in order to get a good ant/exh ratio. A lot of guys up the exh duration and/or lift when there's absolttely NO need to&..

dude go with the stage 3 they are well worth the money and very streetable

it already has combustion chamber work...
I don't think it does he's talking about some porting around the valves in the chamber area it does alot better flowing. Also, if don't need anymore than why are you putting a head on.go stage 3 save your time and money.

I'm putting the car together to fit my needs. I don't see what the problem is. Yes I apreciate the advice, but can't understand why it seems a problem the way I wanna go. I'm goign with a head for the car since I got it for dirt cheap. I would have been dumb to pass it up...or woudl you have for 450 bucks ???? The crane/fr stg2 is what I want. I drove in a car that had them with this exact head and I like the way it drove and the performance. So that is what I wanna go with.

One question for you - how come you didn't get stg3s? just wondering...

chris - I told you everytime you IM me about getting stg3 cams that I don't want to go that way. That stg2s are what I want. So I will have to repeat myself again...

Again - I apreciate your advice and all, but I really don't see what the issue is with me goign a certain way. It's not like the way I'm going is crap...If it is crap, man, I never thought crap felt that good when I drove in my buddies car with the same exact head and cams....

A crower 236 intake cam with a stock or exhaust one or one of the ford racing exhaust cams would be what id do. I dont know what the head flows. But just dropping a set of aftermarket cams in isnt going to get the most for your money. If you wanted a little more bottem end mayby run the 228 crower intake cam with stock exhaust cam or a mild ford racing exhaust cams. Since your not running stock I/E ratio it kind of changes things around a bit from whats produced out there. Custom heads like custom cams to really bring out the port work. I dont personnely like the crane cams. They arnt agressive enough for any real gain. Their "race" cam is 218 * @ .050 and crowers stage one intake cam is 220. I Dont think youll see more then 5-7 percent with these cams. Where as mixing and matching you can get 10-13 percent over stock cams and basically no more low end loss. Mayby take a look around before you get dead set.

BTW, I don't know how you define "streetable" But my 3/2 combo is more than streetable to me. In fact, I'm probably going to switch to the 4/3 combo early next year.
