I can only hope it is a case of the old expression loose lips sink ships. The Kuga is a great looking vehicle and since it shares the same Euro C1 Focus-based platform, if the next Focus redesign for MY11 that we're supposed to get doesn't change too much underneath it shouldn't be an issue to have a flexible plant that can make both vehicles.

Considering the drive towards a flexible manufacturing line/process, it'd make sense that something like this can happen. One side of the plant (or one week) make the Kuga; the other side (or another week) make the new Focus (or possibly a C-Max variant...or a Transit).
