sick...can that thing even be driven as a daily?

 

I can't see the video in question from work but I can tell you that theres plenty of 800hp plus Mustangs being driven around the country on a regular basis.

So if you pull up next to a Stang and all you can hear is fuel pumps whining in back you may want to rethink taking it on.

I deal with a TON of Mustang guys and theres some seriously nasty stuff running around and in most cases you can't tell what it's got until the lights go green.

Especially with the new modular stuff since you can make upwards of 1000whp without even removing a valve cover.

 

That was freakin funny! But I do wish I had an 800hp car.

just asking as this thing does not even seem to catch any traction...been passenger in a 650hp Corba and that thing was already crazy...so 800hp just made me wonder...fun car, sure...but daily driver would be a royal pain I think...but hey, nothing is impossible.

 

I wouldn't want to try to daily drive a car like that myself, but there are people that do it... :screwy:

And yes that car does need some help with hooking up but that's just a matter of some suspension tweaking and decent warm tires.

Hard to say, it didn't look like they actually caught him in the act of anything or the lights would have been on much sooner on the squad.

With the number of runs he made I'd say neighbor complaint.

 

Daily driver...sure, ok. Impossible to keep your foot out of it...definitely.

Super amazing!!! Too much power for me. Not that I wouldnt test drive it just to scare myself, but the poor guy couldn't do anything at WOT under like 60-80mph. Loco.

 

According to my buddy with his z28 and an LS6 bottom end "there are no fast mustangs". Fortunatly for him about 90% of fast mustangs are rarely driven or aren't street legal, he hasn't come across this one yet.

 

Where does he hang out? I'll point some of my East coast Cobra guys his way :thumbup:

 

There's a guy around here (he bought the car stock where my Dad works), that has a GT500 with over 1000bhp (866whp) with a Kenne Bell blower and a bunch of other stuff...it's still stock on the bottom end. I saw it for sale the other day on craigslist...I wonder what he's gonna build next.

There are a couple of guys here in DC who have 700 - 800 whp GT500s.

Does not seem that far of a stretch in talking to them. Seems fairly easy with a few boltons and some good tuning.

 

anywhere near harrisburg PA. He understands a good bit but doesn't understand why i'm going to aquire a foxbody and put a 351 in it b/c the 351 is heavier and there aren't as many performance parts for it......LOL. I cant bust his nuts to much, typical bowtie fan. If it doesn't say LS in front of it they dont know ****. He also doesn't want a stroker b/c they blow up easy... but cant really explain why they blow up easy, they just do.

Had a friend in Myrtle Beach that woudl race for pay checks. Had a Firebird with tons of work, still looked stock. The blown Mustangs were the only cars he wouldnt race.
