ive heard the the suspension setup is very similar.

 

The suspension between the two are not interchangeable. Even if they were the same size and you could get them to fit, the spring rates wouldn't be ideal for a focus since the mazda 3 is heavier.

 

The Mazda3 Struts are about an inch shorter up front so I assume the springs are as well. Yeah they do fit on the focus struts but it's far from ideal. I'm not sure about the rear.

 

rear is the same, front is pretty much the same. ive done an overhaul on a mazda3 before and everything is stamped with ford

 

so if i bought coilovers for the mazda 3 off the market id be able to slap it on my 2010 focus?, compared to the stock suspension the coilovers are similar

 

No. Mazda 3 was based on the 2nd gen Focus platform in Europe. Your 2010 is based on the 1st gen Focus platform.
