If i install just the inserts that i saw on New Edge, will it make any difference performance wise, what will it make different? any feedback is appreciated.

I just bought the Prothane inserts from NewEdge and they were delivered
yesterday, but alas, my car was in an accident (An 80 year old man turned
left right in front of me when i had a full green going 50 mph) so I didn't get
a chance to install them yet. They are intended to minimize the "rocking" motion
that the engine and transaxle exhibit under stress (shifting, accelerating,
braking) allowing more energy (power, braking ability, cleaner shifts) to make
its way to the ground. Many people on this board have installed the Prothane
or similar mounts and been very pleased with the improved feel of their car.
Guys, am I right? Back me up here.

You are correct.

They make the transfer of Power from engine to wheels more "crisp".
They also eliminate the "CLUNK" that can happen on a HARD Shift from 1st to 2nd gear.
I'm happy w/ mine.

Will there be any difference made by putting the motor mounts insert only or by putting the whole motor mount w/ insert (like the Z-engineering one)?

I dunno if they're made of different stuff or not, but my friend's inserts are a LOT spongier than mine. I got the fs whole shebang deal, it's definitely a lot stronger looking too. the inserts are cheaper, but I feel like mine was money well spent. good luck whatever u choose

I have the Prothane Bushings.
Unless your DogBone is Broken Somehow, I can't POSSIBLY Justify the price difference unless you've got cash to blow and want to pay that much to have someone else install the bushings...
The Z-Engineering Dogbone May LOOK Beefier, but I've never heard of a Stock one Failing...

Thanx for all the feedback, but i got one more question, about how much time will it take to install?

I have installed the complete mount on my car and it really does make a positive difference, however, I have also installed the inserts on several other cars and think the performance is pretty much the same. The only down side to the inserts is that I have seen one where the insert slipped part way out and made the mount rattle against the frame. But I've only seen one do this, but then again there is more chances of this happening with an insert Vs a manufactured assembly.
