I added a new custom Front mount intercooler to my 97 Ford Mustang Cobra. I have also upgraded the supercharger along with a few other things. Here is the picture of it.

It fits right be behind the bumper. The overall size is 36 x 10.5 x 3.5 with 3 inch inlets. The intercooler works nice, as I usually only see about 5 to 10F above the outside temperatures with it.

I was really hoping for more than 500hp, but 500hp is not bad. I am sure it can do more if I do a race gas tune.

12.28 at 120mph is not bad for short shifting at 6,500 rpms. The car has more left in it. It should be able to get into the 11's.

One day I will get a cobra as well, although I do love the old classic stangs as well. I'm debating between one of them or another 69 in the next few years.

Damn you man. now i will have to do some searching. im just not sure if i should go with the 2001 or like my old 04. but after seeing yours i kinda like the older cobras more now. but i might end up with a 2000 or 2001. should i turbo it or supercharge it? i noticed yours turbo'd hows it working for you? obviously its working good.

i just got off the phone with my cousin and he mentioned the Mach1's i do like those. or should i stay with the Cobra's the 03 04 is out due to how new it is with the prices and all. so im thing 00 01
or 97 98. i guess i need to decide on the body style i guess. whats the hp on the 97 98 stock? i know the 01's where like 320.

His is not turbocharged. It is supercharged.

The 97 and 98 cobra make 305hp stock at the engine.

The 03-04 cobra would be the best since it comes with a built engine from the factory. It is also has a factory supercharger with a 6 speed transmission. Those are still in the $23k to $25k range.
